Scope Cam - I got it sussed!

Been looking at all the options for months. I wear reading glasses and as you all should know these do not go well with telescopic sites, so off they have to come and get stood on etc...So Scope Cam it is.

Picked up a almost new Casio Exilim HS - EXZR1000 on a local auction site for a third the price NZ$210
Then I purchased the EAGLE VISION Universal Scope Mount together with the Barrel kit.
Make sure that you suss out the diameter of the camera mounting ring when ordering.

Kit arrived in Auckland a week later and all well packed.

If you are going to use the camera for shooting I recommend that you use a NON GEL supa glue and glue the camera lens adaptor in place. I also super glued the Eagle Vision UN-2 to the camera adaptor as this was not tightening up enough.

I use 1 screw that comes with the kit for adjusting the focal length that slides in and out.

All up I am over the moon. A little patience and testing and you will have a great new shooting experience. Especially if your eye site is poor.

I have a couple scope mounts and they drive me nuts. It's hard to keep the camera for loosing its alignment on the scope mount as it looks through the scope.

I did pick up a new scope mount, that I'm gonna try next before I give up. It is designed to clamp onto the rear of the scope and hold a camcorder. I'm going to buy a Casio (like the one Matt uses - Exilim Zr1100) and see how it works.
