It's great to see prices on PCP rifles coming down all over the place. would very much like to join the dark side, winning may be my only option currently. Starting with an FX would be great.

I owned an FX Cyclone .22cal for years and considered it to be the perfect squirrel gun. This Streamline seems to be far more efficient and just as accurate as the Cyclone with the same power level. I'm not sure I like the power levels on the power wheel, but the mid range one might be useful. I would have liked to seen what the .25cal version does as I already have several .22cal's. Plus I like the laminate stock as well. Great review.

For what it's worth. I had a gray laminate 22 Streamline. Georgous gun and lazer accurate. Shot maybe a tin of pellets through it. Power wheel was stiff to turn, so sent it back to AOA to have it looked at. While it was there decided to trade it off on something else. So If your looking for one at a discount you might check with them if they still have it.

Beautiful and practical build quality. Thanks for the explanation on how you measure the sound of the air gun. Thanks to AOA for this giveaway too. Shopped there many times. They are only 2 miles from my home here in AZ. Great, helpful staff and excellent selection and great prices. When I recently bought a Crosman 2240 for my son, they were $15 less than even Wally World. Thank you AOA!

I don't know what caliber your HW80 is but in equal calibers the Streamline (without extra moderator) would be quieter because the barrel shroud is designed to suppress the noise somewhat. With FX stackable moderator or other aftermarket moderator it will be way quieter.

I have a HW80 in .22. Silencers are illegal in MA. I know one way around that is having them permanently installed when you buy the gun. Are the stackable moderators or aftermarket moderators a gray area in MA?

I'd love to get my hands on this new FX, but, like many here, I just can't justify the cash outlay at the moment. I WILL be considering it for my next major purchase.
