I had a chance to shoot the Streamline .25 new, out of the box, just mounted a scope and filled. It was very accurate and well finished. I was expecting an entry-level gun but my expectations were exceeded. Not only would this be my choice for a first PCP but I am thinking about buying a Streamline as my 4th Fx rifle. A Marauder was my first PCP and the Streamline is superior in every way with 2 exceptions, price and sound suppression. The price difference would be well spent in my opinion but has to be increased by the cost of a moderator if you shoot in the backyard or indoors.

It will make a great starter PCP for the price point

I have always had spring style rifles and the PCP arena is new to me. Looking forward to a lower cost entry from FX into the market.

If i had to srart over again today...this would be my first PCP. The Streamline is in my opinion a great starter gun as well as a great gun for an experienced air gunner. Its quality at a decent price. I love my .22cal Discovery which was my PCP entry gun... i still use it regularly and hope to continue to use it no matter how many guns i have. However if i get my hands on the Streamline... i may end up with a blister on my trigger finger!

I have been able to shoot a few FX airguns, but never owned one.....yet. Still on my "want" list!!!!!!!!!!

Yep weight is a biggie for me. I wished the Hatsan Nova was lighter because it is very promising. You could buy it, send it off to BWalton for a tune and reg and sill be lower, but close, to the Streamline. Shame their so heavy but should be very tough. Other than winning the contest Im going to give FX time to perfect the Streamline. One in 25 would be fantastic. Enough shots per fill so I wouldn't have to tote a bottle.

Very nice looking air rifle . 90 shots on medium power is great and still plenty of power for a lot of small game .

One area the Streamline may not be superior to the Marauder is in adjustability. The Marauder can be tuned without much trouble to get the speed you want with a given pellet weight. I received a Streamline .22 a few weeks ago and from what I've been able to find online, fine adjustment isn't easy or perhaps even possible unless you're an airgun guru. The hammer spring adjustment nut is locktited in place and difficult to move without stripping the central allen hole then using an ez-out. And from what I read, those who have freed up that nut have found that increasing the tension on the hammer spring in some cases has lowered the fps instead of raising it - which is counter intuitive. Of course there are 3 power settings but it seems to be take it or leave it with the fpe they produce. And if you did succeed in fine adjusting the speed at one power setting, I assume that the fpe would be altered in the other two settings also. I like my Streamline a lot but haven't had the weather to shoot it much yet. I've found that it shoots 30-31 fpe on level 3, 16-17.6 on level 2, and 8-9 fpe on level 1. Maybe once the gun has been out for a year or so we'll be hearing more about how to adjust it.

Dang, that's a nice gun. Perfect combination of shots per fill, power and accuracy. Can't ask for much more for hunting small game.

Fifty shots at 31 FPE, not bad. Ninety shots at 20 FPE and too many to bother counting at 10 FPE. nice.

Nice rifle. 90 plus shots, not bad to carry in the field all day. And the cost, an FX at that price is a steal

Have never shot or owned a pcp air gun , it always been pumps or an old crosman 160. I loved that thing. Love the review and would love a pcp eventually I'll have to get one.
