Never shot any of the FX rifles, but it sure does look nice. Does it have an anti double load feature? The breech is narrow. It would be difficult to single load.

I just got mine in .25 laminated from AoA, but it has no adjustable butt pad. I don't know it will be different since Steve had his in .22. Anyway, I love all my FX.

I want one but can't justify as I have a FX 400. If it is anything like my 400, it is a good rifle.

You mentioned the threaded muzzle and optional Huggett moderator available from AoA, but doesn't the Streamline comes with an expandable FX moderator? Why no mention of it in the review?

The distributor of FX which is an affiliate of AoA told me last week that the 2 moderator sections are no longer being included with new orders. They included them with the first 100 guns sold as a promotion. Even with those two sections some thought it was necessary to order one or two extra middle sections @ $25 each. Some prefer the Hugget over the stackable FX but the Hugget is more expensive. Don't know how the price compares to other aftermarket moderators - like Neil Clague for example.

Excellent job! You covered all the bases in a clear and easily understood fashion, and you answered the questions I had except for one. A couple of people have brought up the idea that the comb could be a little bit low. Wonder if you,or anyone else that has receieved one, could comment on that . Is it much of an issue or is it no big deal?

I loved that gun the first time I laid eyes on it,but the odds of me ever owning one are unlikely ;(

Can a squirrel ever be too dead? I use a .25 cal Cricket bullpup and do head shots on squirrels - it is lights out immediately.

Having never handled an FX, I am very curious about the power wheel. Can someone explain how the power wheel works on an FX? I would have to assume it doesn't just adjust the transfer port.

FX has hit another home run with the Streamline model. I really like the numrrous features in this reasonably priced air rifle, especially the low-medium-high power function and associated high shot count.

Well the Streamline looks like what the AA s510 could/should be.

I has the s510 in .22 and in many ways seems similar to the Streamline EXCEPT my AA was good for just about 30 shots on high power. And with that it had quite a bell curve to the shot count. IMHO any air rifle selling for more than $500 should be regulated ;-)

The streamline looks like another awesome job by FX! I've always wanted to shoot/own an FX but I don't have the cash for that, or any new airgun right now for that matter lol. I'm glad FX put a ton of great FX engineering into a lower priced package. It also looks amazing! I really dig the more simple sporter look. I would love to put that thing to the test myself!

Basically, from what I understand, any FX airgun is great. As can be seen by Steve's review. I've been wanting to get my hands on just to shoot it. I've heard it's hard to keep them on the shelves despite the high end costs. It's nice to know they're considering the lower end market.
