MOD EDIT: moved to PCP

THIS is the PCP I am looking to own. It is the PCP I added to my Pyramyd Air Wish List two weeks ago just in case I was one of the ones to be chosen by PA in their Christmas give-away. I've loved this rifle since seeing Si Pittaway feature it on VerminHuntersTV several times in the past 4 years.

Brilliant review! I never am disappointed when I start up one of your videos.

Oh sorry for double post. I thought i posted it only once.

Thanks a lot for your post @ironlion269!
I am really happy that you watch my Videos :) So my work with the english subtitles is worth :)

Yes, the Airrifle is really great! Very accurate, very lightweight! I really like fast standing shooting on medium sized targets. This is so much fun, i hadn´t since i sold my Steyr Hunting 5 Automatic

I wish you and your family merry christmas and a great time!
Best regards!

Subtitles are positively worth it.

The Ultra is a real nice little gun. Light weight and great trigger. VERY easy to mod. Remove the valve restrictor, drill out the TP and adjust the hammer spring. Reg's are also simple. I used a HUMA on mine. Just degas, and screw it between the tube and air gauge. I took my .25 from 10fpe to over 30fpe for 16 shots(2 mags) w/i 4%. I then regged it and now it's 16 shots at 28fpe w/i 1%.

With the shroud I made it's very quiet and just a tad over 36" long

The Ultra is a really great rifle but I dont know the latest greatest model perhaps. Cant say I like the synthetic stock at all but many will. I used Mick the Fuzzy Limeys Ultra at an FT shoot once, great trigger, great groups and SO light. I mean really really light, short and point-able , hope the balance is still the same?

Not a huge hit in the US ( well respected but not a hit ) due to the "12fpe" thing I believe but as long as you have some experience they can be hopped up a bit.

I keep forgetting this rifle when people ask about light weight, it really is a cut above most of it's competition. Thanks for posting.

Hey John,
thanks a lot for your comment!

In Germany, BSA is a smaller brand. That's why I hadn't thought about BSA's air rifles until recently. But just after I had the Ultra SE and the R10 in my hands, I am thrilled. Now I try to test as many rifles as possible from BSA. Unfortunately, I have no one here to help me tune the Ultra. But that's a great rifle out of the box. I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas! Greetings!
