Recommendation for a tank seller?

I'm on the market for my first tank. I want a big carbon fiber one, around 100 cubic feet, 4500 psi. No messing around with adapters, I want it ready to go with a female Foster on it.

A US-made tank would be nice, and I'd pay a bit extra for that.

I want to buy from a nice guy, not anyone who's going to push overpriced accessories on me or anything like that.

I saw Pyramyd has some for $750; that seems kinda high?

Joe B says his are US-made, but he seems one of the pushy guys.

750 sounds about right to me for a brand new big bottle with all the fill equip.
All the big names have them. Hmm... If you did order through Pyramid Air, you'd get ~750 bullseye bucks. Or, if you can wait until a promotion, you might be able to get double points and 15% off. (Current promo would get you $75 off + bullseye bucks worth about $67) I'd turn right around and use the bucks to get a bunch of pellets. :)
A bottle is a bottle. They're all essentially the same. So, if the prices your finding all add up to about the same, switch your focus to the fill setup. A slo-flow valve will make things safer. A longer fill line can be nice for tethering. 
Also, make sure your air supplier will be able to refill you. eg. A firehouse might only fill up through an SCBA valve. Of course, if you have your own high pressure compressor then you're all set.

I've bought a couple things from Joe, he's not a pushy guy at all. To me he's really into what he does, probably a tab over caffeinated, but I've looked over several other tanks and the tiger shark that I picked up i could not be happier with.

Now I had a few dumb questions to ask it being my 1st dealing with a tank set up and Joe took the time to answer all my questions, and I picked my Tigershark up used.

Good customer service to me is worth more than saving a few dollars, unless we're talking several hundreds of dollars of course.

And one last thing shipping is amazing, every order I have done with Joe if It's not to me next day or 2nd day latest. These are inside of the same state times, but I've ordered stuff from inside Ca and at same time from east coast and have had the east coast order get to me first.

I made a purchase from Joe B. A couple weeks ago and relieved my order in 3 days. He spent a while on the phone with me and the prices were good. I didn't find him pushy just energetic. I hast a minor issue and although we played phone tag for a couple days, mainly due to my work schedule, he handled the issue and I will definitely spend money with him in the future.

I got the tiger shark from Joe B and I understand your comment about "pushy"

What I discovered is that he is not pushy, the problem is he offers to many cheaper alternatives. Customers who know nothing obviously ask all about the different options so he has to recite the same spiel maybe 40 or 50 times a day to people who really don't understand. It does not help that his website by his own admission is anything but professional quality.

If joe offered only 2 setups, dirt cheap and full package without all the other addons and take offs that he has to explain over and over all day, he would come across much less edgy.

He is definitely an honest guy and the descriptions of his products are accurate.

I bought an expired tank on ebay for 40 bucks got a fill hose assembly off eBay too for 80 bucks bought a Yong heng compressor for 300, and presto! Unlimited air plus a tank for just over 400$. These expired tanks are good for 30 years in europe. Thanks to a couple greedy lobbyists in Washington, our have to be "discarded for "safety"(follow the money) reasons much sooner than the exact same tank in europe.

Your statement is very broad and far reaching in reference to the CF tank lifespan and testing pressure vessels. I would be very interested in hearing or seeing your source on this statement. The PED which defines European Commission Directive is not the same requirements as the DOT requirement for Pressure vessel codes required here in the USA. Please don't risk your life and the life of your friends and family by mistaking another countries laws and requirements to manufacture with those of the USA. They are not the same tanks DOT and CE/PI are not the same. Please don't confuse them. If you tank does not have a 30 year life associated with its DOT or CE/PI code you are risking catastrophic failure. I hope you take this with the kind caring intention it was written. I don't mean to preach.
