RAW REPORT

"marcella69"And it was faulty when you bought it from Martin new? Why didn't you just return it to Martin? By not doing so, you voided the warranty.
Martin test shoots every rifle himself and does the assembly himself,I cannot see how a RAW product would ever make it out his doors that didn't meet or shoot to his standards,no way would he put his stamp of approval on anything that wasn't 100% going out his door,if something happened after it left his business that's not on him but I would still return it back to him explaining what happened.

I don't want to get into a RAW bashing. I was not worried about the warranty. RAW makes a very good gun but if you follow this forum a few other people were not satisfied with the way their RAW shot. Nothing is always perfect. I did return it to him,he kept it 3 weeks and said it shot fine but my FX 500 shot better.
The RAW would shoot some good groups and then shoot some bad ones and the velocity was not very consistent. It wasn't worth arguing over. It shoots good now and i am happy with it. I have the 25 cal barrel, pellet probe, magazine. The barrel still has the carbon wrap and moderator on it. If you want to buy it send me a pm with an offer.

Not to change the subject BUT!!
I hope the weather changes to where I can get out and shoot some more to take my mind off the RAW,made some 3ft earth anchors last night to drive into the ground to hold my new canopy frame better in high winds and now I just need to get out to the property and hammer them in when it stops raining.
I wonder if I could have them set the regulator at 140 rather then 130( if they can) if I would be able to have more luck shooting a 95-118gr cast or swage bullet better,I know the 130 is set for the diabolo 81.02gn pellet and that raising the reg to 140 would reduce my shot count but in return if it would create a better opportunity to shoot a wider selection of bullets......What do you guys think. Just a open question...

that's the first time ive heard a Raw rifle being inconsistant, well i guess Porshe even has some issues here and there,,,i think what happens when there's so much hype and expectation of a product,,and if it just dosen't live up to the hype .,,obviously it ruins the experience, even if A Z got the rifle shooting right ,,,the owner may have soured on the product.. happens all the time to different products ask ted beir about his first marauder ..

Ya that's it just something I'll need to talk to Sandra about like I said it's just a question that if not asked there will be no real answer..idle time is not good for ones mind hahaha. Besides he has it fine tuned for the 81.02 why change it if it's not broken..
It will be interesting to see how those MrHollowpoints work for you. I'm ordering some but the heaviest is around 115, I would need to check my email to be exact but not to worried about it now being I have more then enough 81.02 Diabolos to shoot for now.
