raw hm 1000x lrt or dATSTATE WOLVERIENE

But more importantly... why didn't you consult the manufacturer/dealer if you weren't completely satisfied with you purchase?

Just curious

After feeding the rifle 750 pellets it was starting to settle in with a 30fps spread. At this point it would do half inch groups at 50 yards......and I learned that the .25 cal was really too loud for my neighbors. This coupled with the increased air usage changed my mind about going any larger than a .22 caliber. I sold the rifle for much less than I paid for it. Someone here got a good deal on it. I would have kept the rifle if my neighbors hadnt politely said something about all the shooting I had been doing. However, had I kept the rifle I would have sent it off for a tune.....probably AZ. Who knows.....after another 1000 pellets it might have been down to 20fps spread or less???? In all fairness.....I never called RAW/Martin.

noise is a consideration for me to and so is air useage! I use a hand pump and where I live noise is a huge consideration. that's why I'm going with a .177

the rifles I have now are as followes..

AIRARMS LIMITED EDITION IN .22 42 FOOT POUNDS ON HIGH POWER 11 FP ON LOW POWER
MY AIR WOLF IN .177 IS 14 ON LP AND 19 ISH ON HPOWER.

THE RAW IM PLANNING ON GETTING WILL BE THE BENCHMAMRK ACTION IN .177 IN A L R T STOCK.
I WANT ALL THE ACCURACY I CAN GET.
WITH THE LOWEST NOISE LEVLE AND THE LOWEST COST TO AMMO AND TARGET LIFE.

YES 177 IS THE WAY TO GO I THINK.

I have a HM1000x LRT .25 that I received this fall. My experience with my RAW, Martin Rutherford and Mark Buchanan has been exceptional. Any questions were answered promptly and those answers resolved my issues. This rifle is my first high end airgun and I couldn't be more pleased.

Soon after receiving her, my eleven year old grandson was one holing at 35 yards from the tailgate of my truck. We decided that it was too easy and placed a stick about 1/2 the size of a pencil on a fence post at 35 yards. He broke it in half on the first shot. I know it was only 35 yards, but I got excited.

Out of the box my rifle chrono'ed an extreme spread of 25 FPS. I haven't rechrono'ed it, but after a few thousand pellets thru her, I plan on it soon.

I know that in my pursuit of long range perfection that I can't blame her. I need to do my part by leaning how to maintain her and what she likes. But to me the fun part of our hobby is maximizing of our guns potential and my shooting skills.

I owned a Wolverine in .25 but I haven't owned a RAW. So, my answer won't help you much because I'd go with the different rifle, the RAW if I were to buy another. However, while the Wolverine is a great rifle, (B Hi-Lite) it was a bit longer than I like. If I bought a RAW it would have to be in the 40" length range, give or take an inch. It would also probably be .25 and that might mean I wouldn't get the FPE I want -- 45-50.

I do LOVE my Air Wolf MCT .22 though!

My .22 wolverine Hilite gets 55 shots with a maximum spread of only 12 feet per second from 230bar to 185bar. Its not getting as many shots as a regged rifle would but those 55 shots are amazing. I practice on a 2 inch spinner at a 100 yards.....and enjoy windy days more than calm days. Its fun getting a feel for doping the wind. You really cant go wrong with whatever you decide. If you get a .25 caliber then definitely get the RAW because the Daystate .25 does not use the slingshot hammer. Considering the rifles in question.....I truly believe you will be happy either way.
