Hi Moorair. Thanks for the kind words! I'm actually thinking mine will have the new receiver after all. Craig at Straight Shooters where I ordered mine just told me that the gun that came in before mine had the new one so he sees no reason why mine won't have it as well. Keeping my fingers crossed! Yea this is my first .25 also. I was really torn between the .25 and .30 but pellet selection and price and the flatter trajectory due to higher velocity of the .25 pushed me in that direction. 

Man that would be hard as well. Knowing that it was waiting for you in Seattle but having to wait even longer. But I'm sure it will be worth the wait. Good things come to those who wait right? And who spend lots of money! Haha!

I'm not much of a sports fan. To many other interests I guess.

They said mine has the new rail system and if the 10 weeks they told me holds true mine should be ready in the next week or two. I have not called them I don't want to be a pest and it is not like I am waiting for a pace maker. I will be glad when I see you get yours 30cal. you have been waiting much longer.

Thanks Gundog! I truly do hope you get yours in the ten weeks they told you. I was told 12-14 weeks originally. This Sunday will be 16 weeks. It looks like it may be next week or the following week now. Summer is almost over! Sheesh!

Well I have some good news! My RAW shipped to the dealer today. And it does have the picatinny rail. I am very happy about that! I should have it next week. :-D

Yes, I've found the RAW .357 (130 fpe regulated) to have a lower SD than .22lr rimfires, as well as delivering commensurate muzzle energy and impact energy @ 100 yds (80 fpe). Clearly superior on all fronts.

Your numbers are fakakta. RAW does make a HMx .357 built around the 1000x action that delivers 16 regulated shots per fill @ 130 ft# of muzzle energy shooting the JSB 81s @ 850 fps. She will shoot the 81s @ 940 fps if there is no regulator installed; but you will certainly not see 16 (or even 14) shots at an SD of 3. I did get my partypak from Mr. Hollowpoint and his bullet casts are high quality, but I realize now that I need to shoot diabolo pellets out of my new RAW .357 HMx (130 fpe regulated) to get consistent 1" groups @ 100 yds.
