I currently use a dry air system with my compressor. Is a pure air system (breathable air) necessary for a compressor used to fill a PCP gun?

No I believe that is only necessary for filling scuba tanks to go diving in. My AV compressor is not breathable air but it is meant to fill PCP guns.

Thank you for that, crittahitta. This is my thinking as well. One can get carried away with all these accessories.
BTW, I mentioned this before, but I love your handle. I've been trying in vain to get Michael to change my user ID to "Animal_Hitman." but he's unresponsive. I've given up.

Breathing air isn't necessary but I'd say that DRY air is. You don't want that moisture to corrode your tank and gun.

This is my position as well. I believe marketing breathable air systems for compressors used exclusively to fill airguns is a bridge too far.
