Portable Pellet Catcher DIY

I just want to share the pellet catcher I put together in case anyone is looking for ideas for DIY.

I went to Home Goods and bought a wood box for $20, a baking pan for $5 (?), and a drawer handle from Lowes. I'm sure you can find these items laying at home; I didn't =)

Should be self explanatory from the photos below. Basic idea is secure the baking pan to the back of the box with screws. Attach the drawer handle on one side of the box. Cut a small piece of wood and attach to the bottom front opening of box so pellets don't fall out. Then I use phone books, old magazines, etc, and duck tape them together and put in the box for the stopping power. The box from Home Goods even had metal rods on the top and bottom for me to attach a paper clip to hold the target.

Works well so far. Only problem I have is when the 2 blocks of paper stoppers are stacked on top of each other, the top one falls down sometimes. I didn't notice it one time and I hit the baking pan with a 22 without penetration.

Hope this helps others.
