I have 2 Regal XL’s, a .22 & .177. I put a huggett on my .22 and it is extremely quiet. Last nite I finally got the adapter out of the airstream moderator on the .177, so I put the huggett on it and it still has a bark to it. I was going to put a huggett on it but now, I don’t know what to put on it, a Donny fl or an hw. Any ideas?

That is suprising. Just spitballing here, but I wonder if the suppressor for the .22 cal is actually .25 cal. A lot of people put a .25 cal suppressor on to reduce the chance of pellet clipping. Then when the .25 cal suppressor was put on the .177 cal it allows more air through unsuppressed and has more bark?

On a side note, I have a Brocock Contour S6 that came with a suppressor marketed as a Huggett. I need to open it up and look inside it because the thing is darn near worthless. It is hopefully not a representation of what the higher dollar Huggetts can do, but my bad experience with it will keep me from ever finding out. I had a HW and it was awesome. It looked nice, was very effective and I regret selling it. A Koi from Donny FL is getting lots of compliments.

I put a koi on it and it still has a bark, however I shot a lighter weight pellet thru it today and it was quieter. 74db, I can live with that.
