Here's an interesting little study I did on the air gun page I'm administrator of on Facebook. I lined up the commonly used .22 pellets I have to see how they differed in length. Left to right; Crosman Premier Hollow Point 14.3gr, H&N Field Target Trophy 14.66gr, H&N Sniper Light 14gr, H&N Baracuda Green 12.65gr, Gamo Platinum PBA 9.7gr, Gamo Rocket 14.39gr, Beeman Silver Bear high shock hollow point 12.65gr.
This time, same pellets in the same order, but with one showing inside skirt area. Note how each one is different? Also notice how the H&N Sniper Light's skirt looks like the nozzle on a rocket booster?
