I must say that I did not intend to make bow hunters villains.....I was just stating what the situation was at that point.First of all I am a hunter.I have and do hunt with a compound bow,crossbow,black powder,powder burners,slingshots (as a young boy)I have and do belong to various hunting groups..If You do not belong to these hunting clubs join them.there are several groups of hunters that have had laws passed because they were able to put hundred of names on a petition.Form an airgun hunters club,attend wildlife commission meeting,state Your case,Be nice.Improve Our image by doing fund raisers for people in Your community..Not many months go by that a hunting club or volunteer fire department has a fund raiser for someone in the community that has cancer or other things that have been devastating to them or their family.At these fund raisers invite county commissioners and wildlife officials,have an airgun demonstration.invite the news media.Have a plan that will be the first step to a end goal.Go one step at a time.Show the advantage of the 25 or 30 cal. For small game hunting,for predator hunting in areas where powder burners could not be used.If You were at grandmas house and she had cut her pecan pie into 6 slices one for each person present and had served it before anyone had a chance to eat the doorbell rang and six more uninvited guest showed up and they stated that is a good looking pie give Me your piece. How would You react.Guys and ladies the wildlife pie is already divided. If We want someone to share their slice with us We will have to work hard to earn their respect,ask nicely and show that we are worthy and can be trusted with a piece of their pie.
