Couldn't decide, so I ordered both - an FX Crown in .25 and a RAW HM1000x in .30 - and now the waiting....

The anticipation makes it sweeter! I have a RAW .25. Well built gun. You won't be disappointed. I'm waiting for my Crown also. At least you know when you will have your RAW.

And here I am in my 5th year trying to collect enough dough to buy my first high end PCP air gun. Would have made it long ago were it not for the on average two annual unplanned and unavoidable money eating events. #Jealous (only for the having a beauty in each arm part not the waiting part)

did u get the lrt stock mine was ready on monday but talking with Sandra we realized that the stippling on the front of the stock was overlooked waiting for a update mine is the hmx1000 lrt in synthetic black grey 30 cal right now if u buy a gun and xtra mag they give u third mag free i got 1 right and 2 left handed mags martin and sandra are so easy to talk to and are a pleasure to know i am a fan and customer for life pat from boston

I ordered my HMX in the LRT stock, black/red. May end up cancelling the Crown if I'm utterly smitten by the RAW. Martin told me mid-July on the gun, which would be right in time for my birthday.
I ordered the Crown in synthetic, but I want the blue stock, with the adjustable cheek rest. If I can't get those, I'll pass.

I am an actual RAW owner from Colombia, for me is the best (also edgun), I have had most of the brands and in my opinion, these are the two best.

Change the stock and call asap and you could have it shipped today. It is more fun ordering just the way you like it though, no pickels on mine.

So 8 weeks came and went with RAW. I've sent several emails over the last few weeks, and left messages. No answers. I thought for sure RAW would be here before my Crown, but given the news lately about the Crown, it will be curious to see.

RAW had a equipment failure and it took a few days(4)to get it fixed last week or the week before can't remember but anyway it's all fixed and they are going at it full bore.

Not the wait that bugs me, per se. It's the utter lack of communication. When I was ordering, I got rapid fire answers, but now can't get them on the phone. I wonder if this is part of the reason they no longer take deposits? No deposit -> No obligation.

I did almost exactly as you... I order a Crown in .25 and an HM1000x but in .22. I receive my HM a month ago and the rifle is just sweet!!!!! My Crown should be at home sometime within the next two weeks, it's among the first 30 ordered to AoA.
We will see how it performs.

So with my rifle only a week or so out, was time to find out the status on my optics - my Vortex Viper PST Gen 2 was supposed to be shipped on July 13. Unfortunately it turns out OpticsPlanet is super back ordered, and latest delivery date became August 23, maybe. But the nice people at Optics Planets gave me a nice discount on whatever scope I'd like - so I ordered the Athlon Cronus BTR in 4.5-29x56. Should be a gorgeous scope mated to a great rifle.

Just gave Sandra my CC. Just a few more days... few more days... cannot wait. Just received my Vortex precision rings, Atlas bipod, and the Cronus is due on monday. Cannot wait!
