I really like the features on this new unit, be tempting to trade. Problem is the Omega super charger I have now just sets there and does its job. I've never wanted for air since I got it. SO, I'll wait till after the 1st of the year and then see how much AOA will want to trade. Try and show a little self control.😬 I'll bet we see some used compressors come on the market this next year

"ClearedHot"Wow, I like this! I have the stripped down air charger version, but 2x fill rates at that level quietness would be sweet. The tank carriage on top is pure genius! I wonder if the rebuild time is about the same~ (100hrs) ?

My two year old Omega Super Compressor just passed 220 hours and shows no signs of stopping. I have spoken with Todd at AoA several times regarding these compressors and he told me the factory now uses seals that last much longer than the seals that came in my compressor. He has asked me to keep in contact to let him know how many hours my compressor accumulates before it does need a rebuild. Either way I would imagine this new compressor uses the newer seals he mentioned, which means the rebuild time should be significant.

All the information I currently have is posted. If the older Omega unit required a filter then this one "might" too however that is purely conjecture on my part.
I believe it is complete and self contained as stands though.

After looking at my answer I believe it is entirely possible I have been watching too much C-Span recently as my answers are ambiguous at best. ;)

rcompton, I purchased an Omega Supercharger from one of our sponsors a while ago and it too did not come with an instruction manual. I found an online manual but it was

not complete. After watching the AOA vid. on the unit one was to be included. I contacted the seller and he sent me the manual. I would not "wing it" on something that is 

this expensive and complicated....just saying.

I too am happy with my compressor and am glad you like yours. Good luck

I decided in the past two days that I "need" a compressor. The reason I don't shoot my air rifles a lot is because it is an 80-mile round trip to the dive shop that will fill my 4500 PSI tank. I have to drop it off and if I don't call ahead I might have to leave it for 24-48 hours so another trip! My son and I can both share this system, instead of sharing my only tank, so that's a plus.

Sheesh, this PCP stuff is expensive but my right arm is only being twisted by my left arm.

I'm leaning for the Turbo just because of some of the ad-ons. I don't consider myself very mechanically inclined so I want a machine that is easy to care for.

Good luck with your compressor.

I use to cascade my scuba tanks and to keep shooting i would take my guns down to about 1500 psi.

But since i got my compressor, i'll shoot 4 mags of 10 with the 177 and 22 and 3 mags of 8 with the 25 and refill.

My speed, and accuracy stays pretty constant.

Even tho i have excellent accuracy with the pellets i have been shooting for years, i now have experimented with other pellets i have but didn't want to waste the air trying.

The result of this has been finding new JSB and Falcon pellets that are as accurate as those that i have been using.

Again, buy pellets and enjoy the compressor.

I recommend a moisture filter on the output. The mechanical separator (condenser that you bleed) can only bring the high pressure compressed air down the 100% RH. Even worse, that is 100% RH at the elevated temperature coming out of the compressor. Your tank is cooler and that 100% RH is going to be even higher post cooling. A high pressure drier after the compressor is needed if you want actually dry air. 

If you want a good, low cost, objective way to measure the moisture level coming out of a compressor, you only need $100 in a 6000 PSI rated moisture indicator. That will let you know rather than guess or follow anyones opinion.
