just finished cutting the foam, this is the first time doing it and I didn't have any help, I know it's not perfect but it's not too bad.. here are some pictures.

Looks really nice, i would just hate taking my scope off and putting it back on when using the case. Good job though.

If i don't take the scopes off, the two rifles don't fit but they have picatiny rail and quick detach scope rings.

Nice work on the cut outs. I'll be needing one soon enough to start attending Worlds matches(yearly). Of course I only need one gun so to avoid baggage fee's I'll be using the 1720.

Eddie and Cheese, great job to both of you. I recently purchased a Pelican case for my air rifle, and the cut outs didn't come out nearly as nice or professional looking as the ones you did. Very nice jobs to both of you!

I used an electric knife like used for carving turkey. My problem was keeping the knife perpendicular so the cut was straight up and down.

Hot wire foam cutter. Drill a small hole center of desired removal of material and feed the wire spool up through it. Turn it on and follow the white caulk lines. When done, turn it off, let wire cool and remove it from the cutout.
