This old guy wants to get a pcp but have no idea where in SoCal Riverside/ Temecula area to get air tank filled. Any help would be appreciated by me but not the possums.

Not all that close, but not all that far considering everything in SoCal is a long drive. Mac 1 Airguns in Gardena. They sell and do repairs. Thanks, I'll start there and see what follows. Had an Hw 55 for 40years but felt sorry for young guy and gave it to him. 15 years ago. One of two guns I dearly miss.

Scuba center in Temecula fills tanks to around 4300 psi, also you can pm rnmike,he is a member on this forum. He knows of a paint ball place in Temecula off of Winchester that fills tanks. I guess the owner is also into airguns.

Hey socaloldman. RNMike here. Yep, as Killerclown said, I live in Temecula. No Limit Paintball and Airsoft fills tanks up to 4500psi. They're on Jefferson, just North of Winchester on the East side of the road. When I checked, they told me to call about an hour before I show up to have them start their compressor. The owner is an airgun guy.

I have narrowed it down to several key must have items... 1. No more than 6.5 lbs wo scope. 2. .22 cal 3. very quiet. 4. Prefer wood but not a must. 5. Like a carbine size as opposed to a bullpup or a full size gun. 6. Shot count 30 minimum. 7. variable power . 8. single shot ok 9. used and hunted ok. 10. $ 0 to 1000. I like the Looks of the Brocock, and trust DayState, HW, FX, and Air Arms.

BSA Ultra, I think might fill that list. Airforce Talon SS will fill that list (except wood) and already has the LDC integral. Will hit your weight requirement with a light bit of glass.

Thanks for the input. I moved the talon onto my possible list based on your input. The BSA is quality stuff but just to loud. It is interesting that appearance makes us give up certain guidelines. Even as old as I am a pretty figure can distract. We are so weak!

Not to change the subject... but Brocock makes great small and light guns. I have an XL S6 that I love. It isn't regulated though, and I really only get 12 shots at the top of the curve that I give the best accuracy. Of the 5 PCP's I have owned, it is one of the best.

Boy that is really good info. I have been putting my search together for about 3 months and the Brocock had climbed up to the top three or 4 in that time. Great help. Thanks
