Welcome to the forum and thinks for the videos. We have two…. three things in common. Live in NM, shoot FX 500’s and love Mule Deer. I seen lots of horns in the shots, whereabouts are you JTNM?

jtnm- lots of good hunting and fishing up your way. Went up to hunt geese on the NAPI 2 years ago. Lots of land and lots of birds. I live down in ABQ.  Great footage!

    Jtnm,
I’m in Hobbs, good mule deer here too. We used to go the Unit 2 and bow hunt north of the 64 for elk. Found lots of nice sheds there and killed a few bulls there.

JTNM – nice footage!  That FX 500 is absolutely devastating to those sparrows, doesn’t improve the starlings or collared doves day much either.

What are you using for scope, scope camera mount, and camera?

Ditto. That is some of the clearest video I have viewed in quite some time. Please, share the nitty-gritty details of your setup!

Thank you – I didn’t watch it via YouTube, just from this listing.  Here is the info:

Hawke Sidewinder 6.5×20, Eagle Vision Camera Mount, Casio EX-ZR1200

Nice shooting. You hammer them hard out of that dead tree @ 134 yds., but the idiots keep coming back. :)  It’s as if they know it’s dangerous and to take off when someone gets whacked, but they forget quickly. Definitely not as smart as crows.

Thanks Scott. I’m using a Hawke 6.5-20×42, Casio EX-ZR1200, eagle vision camera mount, all filmed in 240fps, 10X & 20X but mostly 20X. So far I’m digging this setup. I just wish my rifle had some more gettyup for the 33gr mk2 heavies or standard heavies. I’m only getting 810 with mk2’s & 794 with standards, every fourth pellet might fly straight. I didn’t realize they were spiraling wobbling until I got the Casio on it. The Air Arms 25s at 909fps fly real nice.

Thanks. all day long they are landing in them trees. They make the rounds from my horse pasture to the trees back n forth. It’s mayhem in my back yard.
