New iPhone scope cam (potentially)

Hi guys. Found this one on Amazon. It's the Carson Iphone hook up case. It works on any binocular or spotting scope. I have the MTC Viper connect scope which is a zero eye relief scope. All binoculars are also zero eye relief. If this mount fits on any binocular and is able to record videos, I think it should be able to serve the same purpose on a rifle scope. 

The video says its fits on any binocular with a diameter of upto 44 mm. Th MTC VIPER Connect is 42.5 mm at the eye piece. I am drawn to this cause it's really cheap. Far cheaper than any mount I have seen online. 

Has anyone tried this product ? Or does anyone have any views on this ?

Thanks for the feedback AV8OR2. Nothing like getting product feedback from the user. Appreciate you getting the product and posting your feedback so quickly. I stay outside the U.S. and shipping typically costs 6-7 times the cost of the product. Returning the product costs an equal amount. So I have to be very careful with the ones I order. You just saved me a lot of effort and money. Thanks again.

I bought the one without the distance adjustment and couldn't get it to focus. I'm hoping with the adjustable tube I'll get some good videos. Also for those that are having problems seeing the pellet in flight I saw a video where the guy painted the inside skirt white with a toothpick or something and it really showed the pellet well.

If you set your unit up well you don't need the paint:
3 shots at 50 yards.

If the rifle is set up well you don't need the video .......................... just joking. Feedback from good video allows for some discriminating tuning :)
