Hi AGN!I’m Dave, your newest member and likely the newest to air gunning. In December, “Oregun” (this forum) took me out shooting for my birthday. While he’s been into it for many years, this was my first time. Two things about that day… it was the most fun I’ve ever had on a birthday and it turned out to be the most costly! I’ve since procured a new Wildcat MKII .25, an Aztec Emerald w/ FX no limit rings and a Huggett. Also looking at the Atlas BT10-LW17 with the BT15 rail so if anyone has thoughts or recommendations, I’d love to hear them. After a quick call to Joe for the Great White and a trip to the dive shop, I’m ready to shoot! Oregun, are you listening? Lol.

Thanks for letting me be part of this community, I really look forward to it…
 
1st off Big Congrats and secondly you sure jumped in with both feet and did the right thing by getting a good quality Airgun right away and also figuring out a air supply now stock up on pellets and get ready the ride has just begun and good luck, don’t forget to show us your New FX Wildcat.25..
I have a Wildcat .25 and really like it for a 25 cal and I also have Two of the Aztec Emerald scopes, they are nice and made for the Airgunner.

Can’t go wrong with the Atlas or a Harris, bipods are up to the shooter and how much they are willing to spend and the type of shooting they are doing as in if you are doing bench and hunting then the Atlas or such is a good way to go but if you are going to be mostly Bench shooting maybe a F-Class would be better and buy a Harris for hunting, again it’s up to the shooter.

After 15 minutes of shooting @ 50yrds... he was bored..... so we went out 80yrds ... 20 minutes later, he was shooting 2" gongs @100 yrds with ~1" groups off a rickety card table on ice!!!
