New carbon fiber DOT certified tank for $300?

Looks like a good deal to me... If you read the description is says a 9L tank, which is a 60 minute one. There are no photos of the valve or filling station, but it says it comes with those. If it does this is an awesome deal. These are made on the same Siemens machines that make the Omega tanks they sell at AoA. 

They only seem to have the 6.8 liter I don’t see the 9 as a choice. Still good price for dot certified

I believe 6.8 liter liquid capacity = 75 cu ft air capacity. Wonder what kind of valve it comes with.

If you look every 3 months or so you can get the Benjamin 90 for $279 you should also check the Crosman web site they have a $30 rebate coupon too. I got mine from grabagun.com

I would check out Mac1 Airguns, he just got some new DOT approved CF tanks in and they come with the fill system too.

Someone needs to buy and see. what's what. I've seen them for a while but not on ebay as a store front for Acecare. Seems almost a;ll of their cylinders "can " be DOT certifed ( by the manufacturer IF you buy enough ? ) and some/most are UK certified?
I'm ebay ignorant , store front, blah, ..
Do they now have a U.S. shipper? Were there an issue it get's returned to? 

Certainly the valve parts on Tim's page look very similar to what ace sells, and those parts ( IF I could get a UK cert. tank ) were my biggest concern. I do have a booster and could fill one, certainly do like a good ole DOT stamp and regular inspections tho.

They are AceCare tanks (Tim started a thread on GTA about them) but I would feel much more comfortable buying them from Tim right here in the USA. I don't think he would sell anything that he thought might be unsafe to use. Hard telling what you're going to get nowadays when you order something off ebay or amazon. 9 times out of 10 what you receive doesn't even resemble the photo that they post on their ad.

The Crosman Benjamin tank is 90 cubic inches. The tank OP is looking at is 90 cubic feet. Big capacity difference.

Well, we do need to compare apples to apples. One is capacity the other is actual volume. So 90 cubic feet capacity is about 8.5 liters volume. The small Benji tank is approx 1.5 liters volume or 16 cubic feet capacity. Both at 300 bar. 

The math is L x 9.7 = Cu Ft, i am going to pick up a 6.8L with fill station from Aliexpress, around $275 with shipping 

You are better off getting it at amazon its only a about $35 more and it's dot certified with Amazon you at least can return it free if something is wrong when you deal direct with Ali it will cost over $100 to return if they let you.

If anyone in the USA buys a non DOT certified tank be advised that you will likely not be able to get it filled or hydro tested at any US location!

One other point to consider where have a dot certificate isn’t required for you to fill using your own compressor remember when it comes time to sell your tank not having a DOT will mean fewer possible buyers.

Did anyone ever purchase a ace care tank off amazon

I think this is both a new vendor and a new item for Amazon.
