Just came in via brown truck late in the day. Early peak, more to follow.

Early data:
  • 6 lbs 10 oz naked
  • 31 inches long naked
  • JSB 18gr @ 846fps 28.6 fpe
  • JSB 15.89gr @ 884fps 27.6 FPE
Mechanically pretty much same as bullpup but lighter than most cricket bullpup configurations. Lever action is forward. Received right before dark today so not much time to fully explore yet. Observations so far:
  • Light
  • Nice darker brown beech stock with adjustable cheek riser and butt pad. light checkering on pistol grip.
  • Quiet enough for most backyards with no LDC. Extremely quiet with Huggett regular or Belita or Donny FL Sumo. Stealthy.
  • Very low mechanical noise when fired
  • Very good ergonomics
  • Has a safety 😀
  • Smooth lever cycle
  • Same old cricket mag - it works
  • Full shroud
  • CZ barrel fully tensioned and free floating
  • Good Chrony data quickly checked with tightly regulated shots. Not a super magnum .22 but good extreme spread and SD.
Have not shot at targets yet or zero'd

Mods:
  • Full tune and prep by Georgia Airguns. Barrel lapped and cleaned. Trigger adjusted. Tested on Chrony and targets. Power adjusted to balance FPE, efficiency, shot count.
  • Added shroud end cap with 1/2 UNF threads
  • Atlas 3 inch pic rail
  • Metal external hammer spring tension adjuster
  • Bobro Engineering 1 piece 20 MOA mount with locking lever
  • Athlon Midas 2.5-15x50mm Mil/Mil and Butler Creek Caps
  • Vortex LoPro level
  • Huggett Belita

@ wyshadow - hah, I think we all say the same thing about 2-3 times per year! Lol

@BH - Roger that! Charlie does a fantastic tune and he'll walk thru every detail with you.

@FukoChan - I am digging the ergonomics of this "semi-bullpup" concept! Fits and shoots great. Will be an excellent hunter.

@Hynzie - Charlie is very communicative, easy to reach, and very helpful. Mine came from the first real shipment he received from KalibrGun in late June. He did receive the first two for evaluation in April. After Charlie received shipment, he added a few mods and did his expert tune and shipped to me within a week. And gave me updates without me prompting at each step thru delivery.

@douger - This thing is easy to set up and shoot accurately and consistently out to 98 yards so far.

Data updates:
  • Using JSB 18gr for zero @846fps 28.6fpe
  • Sight height = 2.45 with the BoBro 20MOA mount
  • Zero @ 39 yards for a tight .3" kill zone and a PBR of 21-42 yards for hunting set up
  • 50yards = .5 Mil. 65 yards = 1.5 Mil. 83 yards = 3 Mil. 100 yards = 4.6 Mil
  • Very fast and easy to zero since it single holes at 39 yards
  • Second mag after zero moved straight to my 1.5 inch steel spinner at 98yards. Hit 13 of 14 shots. I'd call that very satisfactory for a gun I have had less than 24 hours. 😎
Max Fill stated as 300bar but I intend to only fill to 250 bar. Shoots 4 mags of 14 pellets each on the reg. Chrony'd on 1st and last mags = 846.4 and 845.8 respectively. At least 56 shots per fill. I'm not 100% sure of the reg set point but I'm guessing somewhere between 110-120 bar. Gauge end point after 56 shots looks to be about right there. No point in shooting more for a partial mag.

Side note about the Bobro 20 MOA mount. Def keeps the scope near optical center. I love the quick lever mount. To test claims of repeatability - after I zero' d gun, I removed and reinstalled the scope 7 times on the same pic slot. Zero POI did NOT budge. This feature will be pretty handy for many reasons.

I bought 2 during the SWFA July 4th sale for 20% off. The other one is on my .25 Vulcan right now. Digging these so far. I thought originally they might be heavy but they are only 2.1 oz heavier than a set UTG mediums "max strength". Small penalty for good functions/capabilities.
