As far as Chinese compressors go, I couldn't be happier with my Omega Super Charger. AOA
provides service, parts, and repair if needed. I just ordered extra grease from them, which is what most of your maintenance will be. They now run antifreeze instead of water to reduce storage problems in unheated space. I hear of few problems from them that owners cannot fix themselves.

Got my air Venturi compressor today seems to be working as described only thing I'm worried about is when doing the initial warm-up for 10 minutes when I released the pressure air valve not a little bit but a bunch of oil came out very very little water I'm thinking (a) it got turned upside down when being shipped there was a lot of oil leakage all over the place when I open the box up or (b) it will lighten up as I go I know there's at least one other person who already owns this what was your experience this is in no way a complaint I'm probably just being overcautious this thing is fast love it

Those things should be shipped without oil installed to avoid just that.
The only thing that should be coming out is water.

I bet if they shipped them all with oil installed alot of folks gonna be unhappy fast.
I could be mistaken but I did read mrodair had issues with just that problem.
Call pyramydair and ask them what you should do before running it anymore.

Old corpse ....thanks for the inquiry I filled my 88 cubic foot scuba tank from 1200 PSI to 3000 psi in 32 minutes I also filled my 22 cubic inch bottle from 0 to 3000 psi in about 3 minutes then last but not least I filled my 90 cubic inch carbon fiber bottle from 2000 PSI to 4500 PSI in 9 minutes only one I did from zero was the 22 CI I will let you know when I do my 90 cubic inch carbon fiber bottles from 0 to 4500 PSI. I have to tell you though the times that they specify in the advertisement at least from Pyramyd Air are right on target I also got the answers to my excess oil problem and I was worrying for nothing people from Air Venturi were very helpful and the person I talked to tested several and had the same results as me said that it will lessen after a couple bottle fills one thing I will say is it is loud not as loud as the Omega but pretty loud not only do you have the sound of the motor but also the sound of the water pump going one thing I would like to warn people about it make sure you use in a ventilated area it does emit a very strong smell considering some of the negative points which comes with anything you buy I am very happy with the results so far. once I put it through its Paces I will give a full review anybody has any questions about the air Venturi electric compressor feel free to message me in the Forum or private I will be happy to answer any questions I can good .

Thanks again for posting Skinny, appreciate it! Sounds pretty darned good. I'll be looking forward to your full review after you've ha d it awhile. When/if I get one it'll be used to fill my cf tanks from around 2900 to 4500 psi as needed. That's the fill time I'd be most interested in.

Btw, I am OLD but I ain't no corpse............yet. LOL! Just a very old Marine.

So far mine is doing great my only advice would be to read the directions a couple times before even touching it and definitely make sure you have a towel under pressure relief valve when releasing pressure not just water but a fair amount of oil comes out the first couple times of use because it was tested at air Venturi and may have some residual oil after being emptied before shipping but don't worry this is normal and no oil is going to get into your bottles or gun just make sure to follow the maintenance procedures and don't forget to keep us updated on its performance when you are able to do so on it's performance when you are able to do so honest performance when you are able to do so all its performance when you are able to do so

I believe that it is worth the money after all they do back up their product but like anything you have to take the good with the bad and I believe the good outweighs the bad at least that is my experience so far and if you think about it all those trips you're saving yourself to get your bottles filled also even if you don't shoot that much I still think it's worth it in the long run
