Got a new Daystate Wolverine in .25 and a Aztec scope today. all I have had time to do today is mount the scope and zero a 20 yards. even made my first kill, a black bird landed 42 yard away. So I thought what the heck I will try him. Put the cross hairs right on his chest and bam....I smoke him. All I can say is wow. Can not wait until tomorrow to see what this gun will do at 50 yard and beyond. Shooting JSB 25 gr. and at 20 yard it was just 1 hole the size of the pellet. No matter how hard I tried or what I did I could never do this with the marauder. Best thing I did was trade it for the wolverine.

Now the real fun begins. Once you know your gun can out shoot you there's lots of trial and error learning to be done from different pellets to how to shoot from different positions.

Finely got around to doing a shot string on the new .25 Wolverine Hi Lite. Did 20 shot using JSB 25.39 gr. Had a high of 931.7, a low of 914.2, AV 922.4, ES 17.59, SD 17.59. If I figured right that gives me 47.98 Ft. Lbs.

I went ahead and did another 10 shot on the same fill. That went from 914.9 to 901.4. So it looks like I will get 30 or so usable shots per fill, maybe more. that was from was 250 bar to about 180bar. Fro you guys that know a hell of a lot more that I do, how does the seem. I'm going to chrony some other pellets as I get a chance. Any suggestions?

Mick, I did yell Wolverine this morning when I nailed a starling at 55 yards. I will never do that again......the neighbor thought I had lost my mind.
