Need assistance with my trigger

Just picked up an Impact and I heard a bunch of reviews talking about how good the trigger came from factory. Many stated how Axelsson set it and it should be left alone. 

My opinion is that the first stage feels mushy. There is no crisp stop. Then the second stage is heavy. Yes, I know all of this is adjustable, but I was hoping for so much more. Is this just a one off? Is this how the trigger is truly suppose to feel? I currently am comparing this to the Rekord trigger in my Beeman R9 which feels fantastic.

Let me hear your opinion.

ErikNo, it's not a one off. There is a four page thread named something like "anyone managed to get a decent trigger out of the Impact" on the swedish forums.

We would appreciate if you stopped taking pride in posting everything negative you can find about FX. You know what we are talking about.

The trigger on the Impact certainly isn't perfect. It will never break like your Rekord trigger. But with a little massaging it can be made better. Good enough that it won many of the top spots at the Extreme Benchrest competition. Try searching how to adjust your trigger. If you don't feel confident adjusting it yourself then send it back to your authorized dealer.
