My new Thomas FT gun just showed up at Precision airguns and supplies

"AJ"That is exactly why people send their guns to Allen Zasadny, his LDCs will enhance the accuracy instead of hindering it. That is why you pay the money to do it the right way. He guarantees his work and is the best in the business.

Very good. Bring your suppressed gun to a USARB sanctioned match and shoot against others. When you win report back here.

"aa_limited"why no Thomas dealers in Canada?
..because it's a 1 man show- build to order and execution of final piece by the main man ...a "dealer" would add no value but only add a mark up for the priviledge of taking xtra $ out of your pocket and you having bragging rights of - it's an "Official Canadian Import" (pointless right ?). That's the situation for some Agents/Importers/Distributors in the UK ie: they label all personal imports coming into UK market as "grey imports" ; shoppers are wise, and to save money, will buy direct from Europe shops ; in your case, you should buy direct and do all the correct paperwork to bring it into Canada - as it depends whether the gun is PAL rated , or going to be set up to shoot below 400 fps. In any case, you can do this by yourself as long as you've done all the leg work/ research, or via local Canadian shop who could assist (ie: they receive the rifle on your behalf). Same can be said of some US target shooters...$ is strong, arbitrage opportunity exists, so they buy from certain Dutch shop, import to US, clears US customs and presto - home delivered by courier company ! a bucket load of cash saved over US distributor pricing so you buy that fancy expensive scope - but that is for another thread conversation ;-) Remember, we live in a global market; upto buyer/user to do homework and see what is/ isnt permitted; if permitted, will it incurr custom charges or not ? etc...

"tonyv138"Do not mean to hijack the thread, but there is something that caught my eye in the last post - related to importing an airgun from a "certain Dutch shop". Looking to do just that - Steyr FT. What do I need to know, what are the do's and dont's to be successful, please advise.
I hope Im not breaking forum rules by posting those links ?

It's 90% done and I'll be giving it a workout tomorrow at the range, I sure hope it is as accurate with the suppressor as without

"John_in_Ma"I'm not sure if he ships outside the US. As for production it's set at 60 a year, x4 years at least. Most paid for builds through him are 6months-1year out. http://www.precisionairgunsandsupplies.com/ stocks them from time to time and may be your best bet for out of country sales. Be ready to pay $3,500+US for either variant. An extra stock for either BR or FT is an additional $750.
Well, as @Strever says, and as I crawl through Forums world wide & attend IWA in Nuremeburg, and have emailed Mike...I think I'm in the know about this info - on availaibility OUTSIDE USA... ;-)

What Im not privy too, and find shocking - but pleasantly surprised for the creator - Mike Niksch - are the production numbers you quote ....as no amount of Google Image search even reveals 1/10 or 1/20 of those numbers...

Fantastic Product, Fantastic accuracy , Stratospheric sticker price for sure...

Ball park , per your calc. say 200+ X $3000 = $600,000 turn over in business ?

or put another way 60 guns per annum X $3500 = $210,000 ?

This gun must be the most successful ever start up in the air rifle world

KUDOS !
