My new shop

Finally have the inside shell done. Starting on work benches now

Main work benches are about done. Will be moving on to the entertainment center for the tv, blue ray, and my old PS3 as well as surround sound. Then I will move onto shelves.

Foundation is poured 8"wide about 30" deep. Rebar and wire in foundation and floor as well as fibered concrete. Building is 24x24'.

I have almost everything done. Just moving in all my stuff and trying to organize. Hope to post some pictures this evening of a somewhat finished shop.

I have had a large number of starlings move in the area and picking them off has been a nice distraction from my shop project.

I finally have my new shop near completion. I have nearly all of my stuff moved in other than some machinery. I had purchased a used lathe and mill, but decided for what I typically do, my little lathe has been fine. I have bought and sold numerous lathes and mills over the years, but always find myself back to a benchtop lathe and mill. So, I sold the machines before ever bringing them home. I have my benchtop lathe already in the shop, but will be ordering a new mill soon.

Now, the 12x24 area I left basically open and wired for bigger machines needs a new purpose, but that can wait.

Thanks for all the kind remarks!! I am glad to be done with all the major work. I have to finish up my old shop so my wife can move into her woman cave. Then, I can relax for a bit and get back to airgunning!!

I just got home from work and currently sitting out here having a cold beer. There is a beer fridge!!
