The included scope that came with my Gamo wasn't going to cut it so I ordered the Hammers 3-9x40mm AO Thursday and it came today. Got it mounted, the eyepiece focused, and this is a decent scope for the distances I plan to shoot.
I found the BC for a .177 pellet online as .020 and with a guess of 1000 fps, I was able to get a rough idea where to start when I see what yardages the mil-dots align with on probably 5x. It looks like 25 and 35 yards are the same aiming point so the apex must be right in the middle of those distances. I will have to shoot it through my chrony to see what the exact velocity is for the 10.05 grain pellet. This scope with the AO will probably do the job - the hard part will be learning to shoot it left handed.
