My first video

It was only about 10 yards. I need to work on getting the focus set up better so that the entire field on the phone is captured. I recorded this on my iPhone 5S mounted to a spotting scope, so the only motion you see on the video is from me tapping the start/stop button. Another poster suggested using the volume controls on the earphones to trigger the start/stop. I may need to look into that. It isn't great shooting, but what is impressive to me is that i put together the whole thing right on my phone using iMovie and uploaded it to YouTube from there.

Good one. Were you able to slow the video down to see the pellet in flight ? Not sure if that's possible using a spotting scope set up. Usually people prefer using a scope cam so they can slow down the video and watch the pellet in flight. That helps in learning about the pellet flight, and what went wrong on certain shots. If you could test that and share some insights, it would be very helpful to all of us here. I see the value of using the spotting scope set up since there is no movement. If this set up can capture the pellets in flight it would be an all round winner
