"AR"Ahhhh...It could work, but I'd like to see markings anyways...love the scope better glass than anything I've ever used
Believe it or not, markings do not make it better for me. They actually confuse me even more! I look at it and go,"Hmmm? Does UP mean - the pellet, or the cross-hair?!" LOL. Seriously! That is why I like the "screw analogy" better. I do a lot of stuff that involves "Rigthy tighty - Lefty Loosy", so to me it is second nature.

More about that later... See my post below.

p.s. I do not agree on the glass. At least not when zooming in. 20x is somewhat doable, but 30x... forget about it. Too much light is being kept out.

"Maineiac"Up and down makes sense but what's the trick to remember left or right?
I remember it this way:

When I shoot at a target, and my POI (point of impact) needs to be lower, I know I need to turn the turret Clockwise. Clockwise to me means down, or IN, looking at it from a screw perspective. Remember: Righty = Tighty, Lefty = Loosy!

Now. The same goes for left and right. Just imagine the scope is on its side, or you are screwing in a screw, and you look at the wall from the side.

When I shoot at a target, and my POI (point of impact) needs to be more tho the RIGHT, I know I need to turn the turret COUNTER - CLOCKWISE. Counter - Clockwise to me means UP, or in this case OUT, looking at it from a screw perspective. Remember: Righty = Tighty, Lefty = Loosy!

Hope this helps?!

Thanks,

Kmd

"hcl"I have one question for mtc viper pro 5-30 user.
did you get foggy view over x20 magnification ??
till x15-x20 is still good but over x20 is very hard to set my eye in line to see correct even then picture is little fog.
and the paralax setting then is pain in ass ;p
Sane here. Anything over 20x is just a waste of time. Sure, I used the scope a few times at 20x, but it's just easiest to stick with 10x, so that's where I leave it the whole time, which bye is the reason MTC came out with a fixed 10x version...
