Aaahhh.... ok, now I understand the manual entry. I hadn't understood that until now. Thank you. 

Well, I rounded off my VRF and everything was pretty much dead on till a little over 100 yards. But this only worked for my .30 caliber, not my .25 for probably the same reason it's not working for anyone else. 

I'm going to do what u did for both of them now. 

Tom can I ask you, where do you leave the turret when you change collars? 15 yards? Or are you writing both pellet weights on one tape?

About that... I left it on my 50 yard zero. However, during my drive to work, I got to thinking about it and it's not going to work out since my zero changes 2-3 clicks from one pellet weight to the next. So... I'll have to re-visit that issue at a later date. I rarely shoot the heavies anyway so, I'm not very concerned with them. 
If you happened to share a common zero, such as 18 yards for example, you could dial to 18 before switching collars. Otherwise, you'd have to go through the process of dialing to zero, clicking a few clicks to the new zero location, then installing the other collar. There's other ways around this but, those are 2 solutions anyway. 
I've got a second collar coming in the mail so, I might re-visit this whole process from the beginning. Sounds like a good opportunity to make a video. ;)

Thanks man. I wondered how you went about that.
I tried swapping out at my 50 yard zero as well but it was missing the target completely! Although I'm swapping a .30 Impact barrel for a .25, quite a bit more going on.
I decided to bring it in to 15 yards and do it there-- spun the turret to 15, hit a target at 15, swapped barrels, memorized the clicks to get back to the spot I hit, then slid the new collar in at the 15 yard mark. So for my set up it's 9 clicks up and 37 clicks right @15 yards. Which is a crazy difference in windage... but it's consistent!

I recently mounted the MTC to my .22 FX Royale 400.
I think the calculator actually worked this time! I'm pretty shocked by this since it did not work for my .25 Wildcat or my .25 Crown. I fully expected it not to work once again. This has me wondering if it's an issue with the calculator vs. the .25 caliber, or an issue with my rifle(s), or is one chrony reading differently than the other.

The MTC calculator still comes up with a different BC than Chairgun does, which has me scratching my head (1+1=2 NOT 1+1=1.997). I punched the Chairgun BC into the MTC calculator and it was significant enough to come up with different yardage markers (Sorry, I'm at work and left my numbers at home). Regardless, the most accurate way to set this scope up is to shoot it at every range and mark a blank tape as you go. I will be putting out my own how-to video on this in the near future. I saw Teds recent video where he confirms my suspicion that this is the way he prefers to set it up as well. I take mine a little further. 
Unfortunately, further testing will have to wait until after EBR. 

Overall, my impression of this scope as a whole is "Needs work". That being said... I'm keeping mine and will continue to use it. 
I'll go over my reasons for this in the review video that I'm also working on.

Hi guys illuminating. Just bought my Viper pro 5-30x50. So looking forward to my new Autumn hobby, range tape maufacture. 
Fitting to Vulcan. .25. I use both the 25 and heavy mk2 33 grain pellets. A thought though if we all using similar pellets fired at similar velocities eg
900 fps and 810 fps appx then the tape markers should be the same. 50 yard zero seems to give good results as others do also.
So one set of figures should suit all. Only variable being fps .
When I complete mine will happily submit for the benefit of all. Maybe other could follow suit
