Results Most Common Air Gun Event? Bench, 10meter, FT ?

It depends were you are located in my region of NY there are several FT shoots each month one within an hour and a half drive
and 2 others at about 2 and 4hr drives. But there are also some 10m shoots I just haven't gotten into it yet to know exactly how many are around
were as in some states FT might be pretty much non existent.

I would say in general though FT and 10m or three position are more common then benchrest but I do believe benchrest is start to become more popular.
Also I've found my local clubs are willing to let me compete in their rimfire matches which vary from indoor in the winter to 50m BR and long range contest that go out to160yds.
and I've always been welcomed in and they are amazed just how accurate air rifles are

I would guess field target is the most popular but maybe ten meter is. There seems to be very little crossover from 10 meter to the other stuff. I wish there was more silhouette which you did not even mention. One gun sometimes will work for more than one discipline but usually will not work for all. Back in the dark ages there were no air matches here so we started running them. It's way easier just to show up and shoot but sometimes we have to step up and run matches if we want to shoot.

An accurate scoped sub 20 or 12fpe .177 can perform well in most air rifle disciplines. It would qualify for and perform admirably in 25m bench rest, field target, and silhouette shooting.
