mk1 or mk11

Hey Alex, I know others will chime in but when I first started shooting the Heavies in my FX500 it decided on the MKI's simply because it seemed the MKII's had a lot more lube on them that I didn't like. Seems like the MKI's for my gun were more accurate as well.

I believe airgun depots webpage says the MK11's skirt is a little bit thinner so they can fit in most guns magazine easily. But then i have read posts where people measured them and they were the same. My condor ss loves the the original so I'm sticking with them. This is from their page.

(MkII pellet has a skirt diameter that is only 6.5mm- making the pellet work a little more reliably in some rotary magazines.)

visual comparison of MK1 vs MK2 both purchased in Jan 2017 from PA. Comparing side by side, MK1 appear slightly taller, skirt is slighter more flared, wider at bottom edge and if you turn it over, the concavity of the hollow base goes just a little deeper. It also requires slightly more force to close the lever when loading an MK1.

ive never shot them from an Mrod so cannot tell which works better with it.

I just ordered another 4 tins of the mk1 and was thinking of trying the mk2. But then i thought to myself... why fix what isn't broken. I probably should have bought one tin to try. Maybe next time.

I shoot the MK's in my Marauder.25 and my Bullboss .25 and I have no issues with them,I was going to get a tin of MK ll's but like critta said if it ain't broke why try to fix it, I also have a BT65 QE in .25 arriving today and hopefully that will like the MK's and then I wount need to order another pellet.
