Long scope on a FWB 300

I am interested in getting started in bench rest shooting with my FWB 300. Since the loading port is in a awkward place when using a scope I need some advice. Currently the rifle has a Clearidge 3x9 on it and it works fine but I really need more magnification. I would now like to install a Sightron 36x43 on it. Could you all point me in the right direction to raise the scope enough to make loading it doable?
thanks,
Mitch

Pyramyd air sells a dovetail to pic rail adapter that will give you some height also some have a 20 or so minutes of angle in the rail that will help with vertical adjustment of scope. I have a FWB 300S but I just got it and have not done this yet. I put this set up on a RWS 54 AirKing and it worked great. Just make sure rail is long enough to support scope but not intrude on loading port . Other than machining the sides of loading port down like many have done. A riser rail plus medium —- xtra high rings to get wanted height hope this helps ,Steve
