....the one here in workbench is the .25 green mtn carbine. 20 shots at 730-750-back to 730 fps with 20 gr ftt. nickle size at 40+ yards. filled to 2300 psi disco upper , prod lower.... the g.m. barrels are beautiful - recessed crown, 2" choke - just like a l.w. barrel from georgia, but blued..... since the strange o.d. on these, the ldc was custom made from : [email protected] ... it was less than $40.... this guy uses hard resins, but he's good. try him first for what you need....he made a bad-ass pickle for my crosman model 160, too !!

ranedouglas, you sure like the Crosmans huh? I love my modded 1720T I use for FT pistol comps.

All I did to the Challanger (other then make a stock from a blank) is bore the port to .080" . that put it shooting at 12 FPE for the first 8-10 shots, . then it ramped up to 14FPE at the top of the bell curve. I added a Huma regulator set at 85 BAR and it sits rt below 12FPE. I wanted an inexpensive alternative to buying another Styer or Thomas for WFTF field target competitions. I shoot open now at 20 FPE. I could have taken theSteyr to 12 FPE but the Challanger was so cheap at the Crosman All American last year, I had to get.it.

The gun is lights out accurate! it is every bit as accurate as the Steyr that cost thousands more! The Challanger came in well under $500 in all...

Here is the Styer that is AZ tuned and sporting his moderator. I replaced the knee riser, pistol grip, and cheek piece with marblewood that I designed to fit me perfect.

"Tominco"You can use these if you want. You can also feel free to use some of my youtube vid on this stock as well.
I don't know if it counts since it's made by FX. But, it is an upgrade option that costs quite a bit to have.

I would love to know about this rifle. I think it's beautiful. I'm going to be selling my powder burners and getting air guns instead.
