Laminate stocks for EDgun Matador.

I love laminates, you can take the rifle to a whole new level of character... Unfortunately, I do not own an Edgun, but they are widely considered just as premier in performance when compared to the "premier" brands such as FX, Daystate, etc My personal opinion is that the stock looks very "business" and rough. Yes, it does add a great masculine "down to business" character to the rifle but I think there is also a market for more ergonomic grips and curved lines that would add some sophistication to the entire Edgun ethos... Just my "poetic" input.... :)

Ed,

I love the look of the laminate stock. I have an R3M and the design is great. In my opinion, people know what they are buying; especially in high end PCPs. You will never be able to please everyone and you shouldn't try to, but that's a conversation for a different day. So to wrap up, I would definitely like to see a production of your rifle in laminate.

Thanks

I have seen the laminate Matador in German at IWA. They looked even better than the photos Ed provided. The lighting on those photos is casting a yellow glow. The laminate stocks I saw were definitely dark grey with white/light accents. At the same price as walnut, there is no question that I would opt for the laminate.

What is odd, is that I did not see that stock at the Edgun booth. Rather, I saw it at the booth nextdoor - the stockmaker for Edgun rifles. They had several Matador stocks on display - showing off numerous different styles and coatings. Unfortunately, I do not have a photo of that laminate stock to show you because I was so enamored with the metallic red soft-touch stock. :) If you have ever handled a Daystate tactical rifle, you know what this stuff feels like. The metallic versions were a 10 on the cool scale, albeit they did NOT look very durable.
