JSB .30 CAL PELLET (44.75GRAIN)

I'm running between 850fps and 880fps through my RAW BM500x, slower seems to buck the wind a little better than the faster speeds.

I'm at 882 (36 shot spread 888-872) in an FX Boss. Tack driver at 50 yds, and 1" spread at 100 if wind is low. This is how it came from AOA & I've not played with regulator.

I adjusted the hammer spring when I received the Hatsan Carnivore (sometime in 2016) shooting an avg of 877fps. I haven't fed it any other pellets since. The pellets looked stable in flight out to 100yds (scope cam)

Seeing a trend here.. I'm shooting them 870-880 fps in my RAW with crazy accuracy (sub MOA at 100 yards consistently)

1026 fps in my Hercules and straight as an arrow.

My WAR Flex shoot them well at 900fps with great accuaracy and have shot them at 950fps and stilll had great accuracy but did not keep it there because it brought my shot count down. 

885 fps in my FX Bobcat MK2. Regulator at 160 bar (HUMA). HST at factory setting. 40 shots from 250 bar fill to 160. Very accurate at this speed. Less than an inch at 75yards, haven't shot farther at targets but have taken ground squirrel head shots out to 85 yards 

I have a question for those of us shooting this pellet. What BC are you using in StrelokPro or ChairGun? I am using the .043 listed in ChairGun, but not sure how accurate that is...

Is use the same bc provided by ChairGun. .043! Seems to be pretty close when I shoot long range but I've noticed you have to make sure you put in the temperature when you use it. Or else it will shift your POI from where you might think it should be. 

I was wondering How much better does the 30 cal jsb buck the wind over the 25 . I have an impact 25 and was considering getting the 30 cal barrel because it gets windy here in indiana ??

I think if you're shooting the .25 cal JSB heavy 34 gr pellets, the BC, and therefore the wind performance, will be similar to the .30 cal 44.75 gr pellets. If you do go with .30 cal, shoot the 50.15 gr pellets, and can get the velocity around 850 fps or so, then I think your BC and wind performance will improve compared to the .25 cal JSB Heavy. IMHO only. That's been my experience with the .30 cal FX Bobcat shooting 44.75 at 885 fps and the 50.15 gr at approx. 845 fps. My gun is more accurate with the lighter pellet, so that's the one I normally shoot.

Ahhh, I didn't really say that. I said for MY SPECIFIC .30 Cal FX Bobcat MK2, the 44.75 gr is more accurate (better groups at 75 and 100 yards) than the 50.15 gr. Could be the opposite or different in your .30 cal. rifle...

My 25 cal heavys are still getting blown around tried different speeds . I know any bullet will at some point just thought a heavier 30 cal would get blown around less ?
