Join us on a prairie dog shoot ...... a great deal on a great trip!

A lot of airgunners have written me asking about prairie dog hunts, and I have been discussing with a friend of mine that owns an outfitting service the possibility of putting together an affordable hunt. His shoots are normally more than twice the price, and this is being set up for airgunners! Brett and I have hunted several times together, and he knows the environment and condition that our sport requires.

Brett and I are putting on a prairie dog shoot just for airgunners, and Brett has offered us a great group price. This place is a blast to hunt, good population of prairie dogs, lots of beautiful land, great lodge and facilities. You may have seen it a couple times on American Airgunner, it's one of my favorite destinations. Contact me if you are interested!

Chris, sorry you can't join this time, hopefully next. The normal price they charge is $600/day with a 2 day minimum and two nights lodging, so we did get a good price negotiated. I'll let you know about upcoming hunts. Also setting up a small group to hunt with me in Africa this June/July. I do not profit from these hunts, but try to help generate some revenue for friends of mine that are outfitters, get great deals for other airgun hunters (because I know it can be hard to find good opportunities), and let my airgun hunting compatriots share some of the opportunities I've had.

Wow! This is a great opportunity! I'm checking dates/schedules now.

I only have a large carbon fiber 4500 PSI tank. Is that feasible for this type of hunt (i.e. will it be nearby) or would I need a smaller CF buddy bottle? Or will there be a small tank available?

I live in the SE Twin Cities metro, so a fairly easy drive for me too. Or, I could carpool with someone if the opportunity presents itself.

You will get shots on as many as you want, how many you get depends on you :) Of course you have variables to consider (wind, rain, etc), but I've hunted here several times and would estimate an average of 60 per day.... You could do more if your on and less if you're off. First time I came here I drove from Indianapolis, and felt it was a good decision!

We're a couple weeks away, and if you'd like to join us on this hunt, give me a shout and we'll get you squared away. I'm taking along several rifles and bullpups if you want to give something new a try, will take the FX Wildcat, Kral Puncher Breaker, Daystate Renegade, AirArms Galahad, and Velociraptor just on the bullpup side. Will also have my compressor there.
