Is there anyone that sells replicas of the 1800s airguns

So there are some of us dummies that like to walk around in buckskins and beaver hat with a Kentucky flintlock and play mountain man .... it's a lot safer now days the only time we risk getting scalped now is when we walk into one of the casinos......... or come home with a new toy to show our squaw wife
But what about the air rifles? Anyone make them that you know of

Its just amazing to me that a 800 psi tank is shooting a 47 cal round ball at 100 yards with a 15 shot ability.
This guns tech was way ahead of its time. The Air Force Texan I believe actually uses some of the same concepts as to the air release system, The bottle valve works in the same way.
Just think about it, we are talking about a time of muzzle loaders and flintlocks, This gun isn't just an air rifle its a repeater, It uses a pump that could generate 800 psi in 1500 pumps from a hand pump that could be carried in a small pack.
It had the ability to hot change bottles without losing air and had a rifling that was able to shoot round ball un-swaged accurately.
It could put 10 to 15 rounds down range in the time it took to reload 1 shot in a muzzle loader

"T3PRanch"Wouldn't a Girardoni "style" gun with a modern CF Tank at the rear be the Cat's Meow? I would love to look at the entire assembly. I bet a Black Powder gun could be converted with some expert design work! ;)

That would be an interesting airgun . I'd hate to think how much it would cost though .

I've not heard much about the MODOC other than a few promotional videos . I wonder how well they shoot ? They have made airgun barrels out of brass for a very long time . I don't think aluminum will be an issue, although admittedly I'd prefer it to be steel .

I just wish I could understand why a 800psi power plant can shoot a .57 ball 10 or more shots but a 3000psi tank cannot
What am I missing?
I get one possibility and that is we a talking about a war time design, that is to say a war time gun that injures is as dangerous and costly (if not more) to the enemy as one that kills but still...
About the lightest .57 would be in the range of 175 gr that's not chump change even at say 650 fps your looking at something in the range of 100fpe and it was rumored to be accurate out to 100 yards
Now think about the feat that would take open blade sights 500 to 600 fps 100 yards and to be able to hit a 6 inch target with a (number out of my head) three foot hold over
Wow!!

Pretty sure the Girardoni rifles are .46 caliber . Their valves are a lot different from a modern airgun . They are opened with a cam instead of a hammer striking an exhaust valve . Some big bores will get a decent shot count but most are tuned for a few shots at high power for hunting large game .

My career dragon slayer will shoot 7-10 .495 182gr round balls at about 150fpe from a 2,900 psi fill . They are based on the .22 infinity so there is a lot of restriction in the valve and porting that acts sort of like a regulator keeping shot count high and the shots pretty consistent as far as big bores go . With a 25 yard zero it is about 45-50 inches low at 100 yards .
