I recently purchased pellets from Pyramyd Air due to the buy 3, get one free deal. However, upon receiving the pellets, 4 of the tins (JSB Exact Jumbo Diabolo .22) contained improperly swaged skirts. Even to the naked eye, one could clearly see that the skirts were significantly thinner than the typical Diabolo. The skirts in the remaining tins were as expected.
I filled out the RMA request for an even exchange, and two days later Pyramyd emailed me back indicating that there would be a 20% restocking fee. Believing that I should not be subjected to this fee, I took photos of the "good" pellets v.s. the improperly manufactured pellets and emailed Pyramyd back. After talking to a supervisor, the employee emailed me stating that they would not charge a restocking fee.
What irritates me to no end is that I had to pay for return shipping ($15.75). The effectively negated the buy 3, get one free deal; and the reason I purchase from Pyramyd.
