I'm going to need a bigger gun

I let this one walk, but what would it take in an air rifle for a beast of a whitetail like this? I'm assuming only a through the brain shot -tricky. Watch closely and you'll see the piebald whitetail he just fought. The doe already past to my left.

Deer are soft, a .45 or .50 cal air gun with decent power will take it down no worries

It's legal to hunt whitetail in MI with a .35 or greater PCP. I'd love to try it.

Nice buck. I't petty rare to see a Pibald buck in my area. I've seen a few doe but never a buck in person. Catching those two fight would have been very cool!

There are videos of the Benjamin Bulldog taking larger deer than this at 80 yards with no problem. That being said, the tuned 45-50 cals with 350 + fpe can do it very easily.

There's a video online of a guy who shot a deer in the head with a .25 Marauder. The pellet went all the way through the skull. I'd think that would be a kill shot.
