I will NEVER buy a Crosman product again EVER.

Based on a review on the Maximus done by our own AEAC I order a Euro version on Nov 19, Based on that review I suggest to a friend hay you should check this thing out, it looks like just the ticket you are looking for....he watches the review uses the code provided on AEAC so they know their show is bringing them business....and he orders one on Nov 20. His arrives yesterday (12-4-17) Mine is still "building". They can not tell me why the EXACT SAME RIFLE was ordered AFTER mine was shipped and delivered BEFORE mine has even shipped....really.....does this sound sideways to ANYONE.

I cancelled my order and it seems that Crosman does not want my business....I have 2x 2200 magnums, 2x 2100 classics, a 1077, and a mrod.....unless things change and it does not look like they will there will not be another crosman product in my house....NOTHING NEW. I will also take great pains to forward to all that will listen my story and how fantastic the Crosman customer (lack of) service is.

You once had a customer that sang your praise, no longer.

Did he pick the same shipping option? Are you sure he bought the Euro(12fpe) version? When it comes to human interaction with computer controlled systems mistakes happen. Perhaps if you weren't so quick to anger a resolution could have been found? Remember this is a hobby, not a necessity and your money spent or not with Crosman is a drop in the bucket, even if.

Yes the same option everything was the same.

And flattie...err wheelie.

You are missing the point. I try to be a good voice for this sport/hobby and that is passing on info to others, I think it is a good will type thing.....so when I suggest to someone hay buy this gun, use this code to support our community, and then the order is placed AFTER mine, is shipped BEFORE mine, and DELIVERED before mine is even built....well some think that is great customer service....these people seem to like to be walked all over, don't stand up for what is right, and say when something is incorrect...you must be one of those people.....best part is they charged the CC the day the order was placed.....Some people do not understand principal....and this is a matter of principal. This is flat wrong....and I will do all I can to let all know what they can expect of Crosman customer service.

I should go on to say this is not the first contact with crosman....I was stonewalled at each contact, nothing.....their system broke down....I had called 3 times before this upon hearing shipping updates.....and got no where at all. They really did not care.....

The poster was correct they will not go out of business because of me......point is I really liked this brand....and recommended it to others....that will stop.

Man, I hate when a trusted manufacturer lets something fall through the cracks. You sure have reason to be steamed, @fpgt72. Based on the overall content of reviews and forum posts (here and elsewhere), Crosman tends to be a pretty good company with which to work as a customer. That said, it only makes it that much more frustrating when 'you' end up being the inevitable exception. I hope your next experience, with whomever you choose, goes much better. I always end up thinking "never say never" in situations like this, but you have plenty of other options on the table for your airgunning adventures. All the best to ya and may you be blessed with better days ahead.

They do list them as in stock today. And we all hate waiting for our new toy.
It has been my experience with crosman that they pretty much bend over to satisfies customers if that's what it takes.
Once upon a time crosman had a back order of discovery rifles. They had more in the factory than they could even store but not a single box to put them in - silly problem but ... - the day they did get their boxes they started shipping from A to Z as fast as they could, companies first. civilians last. More than 1 person scramling that entire week. You may have gotten into something like that.

Except for the Gauntlet ( which is un proven and has little/no support as of today) Crosman rules entry level pre-charged rigs. Their parts cost change and service is outstanding.
Ordered a hunter package using the agn code , deal, was in stock when I ordered and I had it in 5 days. Not bad.
If you really want to help others enjoy airguns as you have you might want to set aside your personal 1 time shipping issue and just hand folks your marauder and let them deside things.

Dont even know if you can "build" a maxiums like in the custom shop but if so the red letter warning on time show up.

At least you were'nt on a back order for a guantlet at full price while drop ship stores were actually delivering the rifle at less money. That mean ole umarex.

I do support your move on up to much more expensive and better quality airguns. They are nice.

John

The support guy used the term "build" this is why I quoted it. It makes it all the more confusing with you saying the website says it is in stock.....it very well could be the right hand not knowing what the left was doing.....but if they are in stock and the support guy could see inventory why would he not offer to ship it out today? Why the song and dance? Yes I was curt with him....but I was a bit....well unsatisfied with the current turn of events.

I enjoy the "lower" quality of guns, part of the fun of this hobby for me is seeing just how well I can do with them....different strokes and all that jazz.

They (Crosman) has sent me an email....it is getting close to quitting time there I think so I might not hear till tomorrow.

We will see.

I can understand getting frustrated but don't be so quick to give up on them. I personally had a woods walker get flooded on the island during hurricane Matthew. It was leaning up in my living room and the water line in the room was higher than the moderator. It was one of the only items I cared about that I didn't get up high.

Bottom line, I got in touch with Crosman who said send it in. I told them the truth and that the damage from the saltwater wasn't their fault. Also told them I was the second owner and it was probably out of warranty. They sent me a brand new gun. They sent the wrong scope rings and although I hated to bother them again after their generosity, they quickly got me not only a new set but a brand new red dot scope to go with it. Two weeks later the gun just stopped firing. Sent it back w no scope or mag and Again they sent me a brand new gun.w scope, rings and a new mag.

Don't know about you, but after all the crap I've dealt with from other companies customer service, I can tell you that my opinion of them is stellar!

Hate you had a bad experience but give em a chance and they'll make you happy. Certainly there must be a good reason why this happened to you.

"fpgt72"
.....best part is they charged the CC the day the order was placed.....

This burns my ass with these companies. They are quick to take the money and after they get it we are second class citizens.

You are right if we don't correct them they will just keep pushing till they just collect money with no product.

"If you don't correct the dog for crapping on the floor expect it to be there every day"

Well at least you have or are getting your money back.I just received an empty package that was supposed to have a custom cut piece of carbon fiber tube to make a shroud out of and all I got was a well taped empty box.
I'm just hoping the manufacturer will send me another box with my item actually in it.
Lol I just don't know how in the world an empty box was shipped out because the packaging information with the box stated 1 piece carbon fiber tube.
Best of luck bud.:)

I believe there is a LOT more money and effort put in on the FRONT END (selling the gun) than on the BACK END (servicing the customer). A lot of effort and money is spent with a real effort to get us to look at the product (YouTube reviews, advertisements, mark downs...). I wish at least some of that money could be spent on service AFTER the sale. I believe in the long run that the GREAT CUSTOMERS (Long term) are made AFTER the sale. In today's world where "word of mouth" might include THOUSANDS of people (thru "social media"), I would think these Companies would see the light and take care of the customers they already HAVE!

Well, you know what they say; "they won't see the LIGHT until they feel the HEAT".

I wish you well,

Geezer

I sent them another email today....a Kevin guy contacted me last night, I said in that email....in a nut shell.....hay...all I want is my gun, I will be happy to pay for it, but being this close to Christmas if you could toss in next day shipping that would be fantastic.....this is all I want.

I do hope they make it right....I am giving them every chance I can.

I ordered the .177 Maximus Euro on November 17th, they charged my card right away, and it has not shipped from Crosman yet. When you order the Euro you get this note at checkout Custom gun orders take 3-6 weeks to deliver which I assume means that each gun is not in stock and is made as each order comes in. If that is the case I can see why they would charge you right away, it comes out of the custom shop. I imagine this could happen:
  • you place your order and it gets into the system and the process gets started. It is in the system and the computer software takes over the order
  • after your order is processed someone cancels an order for a .177 maximus euro. Crosman now has a new euro in stock
  • your buddy later places an order and gets the euro that was canceled since it was in stock at the time he placed his order.
I am more concerned about the Euro not putting out the FPE that is shown on the AEAC review after seeing some of the shot strings posted on other forums but we will see after my Euro is delivered.

See and I would buy this....if it was not for my buddy getting the euro in 177 that he ordered the day after me. This is what sent everything sideways.....all I want is an answer....we messed up on his order and he was shipped one for another customer....ok....cool I get that.

Where the issue lies is how their customer service treated me....basically I was told to pound sand He got his faster then you tough cookies.

I am not really looking for a barn burner with this rifle.....I am looking for a basement gun that we can enjoy when it is too cold to go outside and play. I can do right at 18 yards in my basement-garage. This is a good distance to have some fun with the kiddo.
