No big deal, a long time ago a respected tuner explained the baseball bat / ax method, it works lol . just check your barrel with a straight edge to see where it's bent

now for the ongoing saga of screwin up ! I just ordered 11 parts from Crosman, which by tha way is every part pertaining to the barrel and misalignment. of my gun. I was told the parts should be here in 7-11 days. I'll bring y'all up to date when I receive the parts. YA'LL be good now ya heah .

Did you end up attempting to straighten your original barrel unsuccessfully? What parts did you end up ordering?

Yup, a new barrel for the rifle is something like $25 shipped from Crosman, so try to bend it and if you screw the pooch, who cares?
Pretty sure you will be able to bend it back without too much trouble. Some people use the lower crook of a tree and just do it bit by bit by hand. Some make fancy jibs that have a variety of movable parts and jack screws, but if it got bent with one quick whip release of the action, I think it can be rectified with one good anti-forced bend. I decided to replace the barrel. If you saw it after shroud removal anyone would agree. since I don't know just what other parts might have also been tweaked I ordered everything attached to the barrel, now it should soot straight again, I HOPE .go online and pull up the exploded view for parts and I ordered #s 15,16,12,21,22 and 23. Very short money as the barrel #12 was the most expensive at $15.65, other parts were $1.15 to $2.45 ea. I bought other parts as well since I was ordering such as seals, e clips and so forth as I will need them sooner or later. There it is I can replace everything for around $25.00 and be happily shooting again as soon as I get off my butt and put all together. I will let all know how it turned out. Next project on this air gun is converting to .25 cal. Just remember 1/4 in allen wrench used in the crown to remove the shroud then your off and running.

dont forget to replace the plastic barrel washers with brass ones. The plastic ones are trashola. First thing I do on a Crosman, brass washers, and bearing fix.

gimme a few hours and I will give you the Lowes/blue Hawk part number and a How To Video. The OD has to be turned down to fit the barrel recess, easily done with a bolt/nut/ chucked up in a drill with 2 washers at the same time. Turn drill on, file to fit. easy peezy. The OD MUST not be turned down to small or barrel wobble can occur.

Danco #8 or #83 O - Rings for the breech seal, and Hillman Pt# 491432 Flat washers with the OD turned down to precisely fit barrel recess. Dont forget to brush and mop the barrel, as well as lube the Chamber with 2 drops RWS Chamber Lube. this stuff all adds up to make it more accurate.
