Ordered an airgun from Airguns of Arizona.
Changed a few details of my order. (adding and deleting a few items)
Salesperson indicated AOA payment was successful, and that I'd receive credits for items removed.
Airgun package full of goodies shipped and was received.
Credits were received on the date the rifle shipped... rest of order was never billed.... so basically they paid me to take it off their hands !!
Fast forward a month; Detected the billing error while reviewing my finances.
Could not stand to look at the rifle until the matter was corrected.
AOA records still indicated we were square, but they agreed to look into it.
They sent a new invoice agreeing to timely compensation as able, AND they granted a significant discount in appreciation for my coming forward to resolve the discrepency.

Now I can sleep at night knowing they'll get paid...

...at the same time very humbled by their generosity !!!!
Salute !!!!

Awesome. What caliber did you go with, or more than one barrel?
Starting with the .25 caliber.
Have a 25 yard range set up in the back yard... this airgun has re-kindled my longing for property out west, where I was born and raised, so I can lay on the back porch and shoot further than my current residential setting allows.

"CampFussell"Cool, if you want to make your 25 yd range a little harder on your shooting skills get some of the USARB 25 meter targets and try to hit that 10 ring 25 times in a row ;-)
It's not as easy as it looks. I've yet to get a 250. Gotta couple of 247's is the best I can do so far.

I'm in !!
Years ago I went Double Distinguished and received NRA certified Long Range High Master status.
I miss fighting the wind and lassoing a good firing position.
Shooting a Palma Match (800/900/1,000 yards) in 2002 at Camp Perry...

"John_in_Ma"Camp Perry. Dayum!
How did you place?

.177 will give you the equivalent range of a .22lr at 200yds. .22 at the same speed(more energy) will be similar out to 300(.22lr equivalent). After thats it's simply a matter of learning the pellets wind drift tendencies. Good luck Sir.
Thanks for asking John !!
Don't recall how that match turned out. Set a new Service Palma record near that time, which fell the following relay to a fellow team mate. Always did reasonably well, medaling/placing each year in NTI. Got silver Dogs Of War (Rattle Battle) one year, and a 2-way shoot-off for Wimbledon Cup (resulting in second place). Won a state championship in Tennessee too.

CRAP ! I'm starting to sound like the old fart I am... reliving the past.

Interested to hear more about the "cross-training" equivalents you mentioned with respect to pellets and full size ranges. That sounds like good gouge !!
