Go for it bignasty you won't be disappointed. It truly is an amazing air gun. I have been slamming the ground squirrels for a couple months now it is a great hunter out to 75 yards! Head shots.

I have two of the later models. The .221 are grouping on par with the JSB 34gr but hold a little tighter at 60 yards and out.

I just turned up my K1 to 19mpa today and it shot 29.8 .220 BBT at 1068fps. 76ftlbs. It did a group about .5" wide by 1" tall at 21 yards. Good enough for ground squirrels at 20 yards. Regards, Tom

Mine came from Mrodair, with the "improved barrel". Is there any way to know what the twist is, or do I have to wait until I pull the barrel to measure it? Oh, bye the way, mine is leaking air now. Takes about two days to get down to the 20mpa reg setting from 3900lbs. This started after it pulled one of my 2" whiskers into the magazine, had to push the bullet back into the mag using a dowel as it had locked up the mag. Regards, Tom

I've been working on another gun, as soon as it is finished I will take the K1 apart using your fine video for guidance. What do you think of making a brass pilot with the magazine ID (.223") and a short length to insert into the barrel (ID of lands), tighten the three set screws until they just touch and then tighten about 1/8 turn at a time going around the three? And keep at it until the pilot assy pulls out with ease at the end of the process? Regards, Tom

About the leak, I seen happen on one of my friend's rifle, on the regulator adjusting screw, there is an o'ring there that wasn't sited properly, took it out and resited.
On another one, was on the dynamic wheel brass tube, also an o'ring between the tube and the breech was squashed took it out and replace sited properly.
Another one is on the right hand side of the breech, under the pellet guide, there is a small brass screw and 2 small o'rings, they were damaged replaced.
On my case, was on the top valve (above the gauge, an o'ring gave up, unfortunately, could replace it myself, as is temper proof and I had to send it back to Huben to fix it.
These are the ones that I have seen, give more info and I am sure Gregor that have more experience with the rifle can point you in the right direction.

I see Gregor,the meaning also was that, as you have disassemble the rifle completely and you have a very good experience with air guns, could do an input where the leak could come from, if wasn't from your videos about this rifle, I myself wouldn't have the guts to disassemble mine, I would send it back straight to Huben to fix any issue, which ended up having to, due to the issue was on the top valve and I could get to it. By the way, any other improvement on the long range with yours?

Not really, only my bullets... I am working on a longer range (about 100 m). Till now I was limited on 70m. I am also trying to get a barrel with faster twist. Then the Heavier bullets might also be accurate.

Can anyone who owns a Huben suggest a good hunting scope? I have a red dot sight for now but am looking to change it to something with some magnification for shooting wild chickens from 10 yards to 100 yards. Preferably something which can be used for quick point and shoot type with illuminated reticle perhaps a variable zoom starting from 1.5 or 2x or maybe even 3x. I already tried a 6-24x and it is too high to acquire the hunting targets quickly enough. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

To sum up, both version shoot accurately but version 2 will stabilize the pellets better at longer ranges.
