How much tighter can you shoot with an Air Wolf over a Regal XL ? Really ?

Ok a newbie to this PCP challenge and just picked up my 1st PCP and chose the Huntsman Regal XL in .22 Cal over the Air Wolf, both by Daystate.. as the electronics scared me away from the air wolf, coming over from the "ol school of benchrest powder burning Lapua Midas.22 costo mucho $$$$. So I got my pump and scba tank filled to 4000 psi or what's that in BAR like 220 in this international airgunning ? Anyways set up a little 25 yd range shooting into Mulch sacks as my backstop. Set up my Hart front rest and rear bag and started using the Test pak CZ made match pellets into my 'ol USBR targets. Then it happened. OMG every test pellet # 1,2,3, shooting the same hole over and over again. I'm now AFFLICTED again ! Each pellet flew differently from POA but still pretty much each pellet stacked...ALL the way down to the red zone on my gauge! So question is HOW MUCH BETTER THAT THAT CAN AN AIR WOLF SHOOT ? Some of you can explain.
I'm anxious to move out to 50 yds and Im sure that's where the air wolf will shine and my Regal XL probably peter out on grouping, Hmm any knowleadgable AW shooters out there ?

Thanks for any informative input,

Those 16's are the magic, but you know I tried some of the Crosman 14.5 Pirhana's and was quite impressed with pellet accuracy and expansion...flat as a dime.
I'm setting my sights on the air wolf, the electronics make total sense but it still scares me if you run out of power during a match. This PCP technology rules over powder in repeatability. I'm sorry I watched American airgunner cuz this is just as expensive, only the ammo is cheaper! I wanna try one of the 22 grain on a Texas Coyote Ear shot. What did you get yours with and how Far? we have 35-40 # coyotes scooping up lil cats and dogs in town. Ill bet You can drop one in its tracks to 40 yds with a good head shot !

Agree. You are unlikely to see any significant difference in accuracy between an AW and a Regal if they are both the same caliber & both tuned appropriately. The AW is obviously heavier, so it might be slightly better off the bench as the distance gets longer, but for carrying and offhand shooting I'd rather have the Regal. Bang for the buck, the Regal is difficult to beat.

Yes I got a great deal on the rifle thru my club, and then they tried to sell me a 900 dollar scope to top it off And thought , to myself let me try my cheapie, I have Swarovski's which were designed for 750 yd shooting, so I know good stuff. DO I NEED THE HI DOLLAR SCOPES?? So I figured what do I have to lose so I took my BSA Contender Fixed 24 x 50 off my Ruger 10/22 and can see the pellets actually flying and fusing on top of each other. Can wait till I show up at my first match with the BSA and listen to the story they're gonna tell me.

To me they are two completely different animals.

The Regal is a beautiful, accurate Sporter that is light in hand and produces ~ 30 fpe. Can be carried all day long and is just pleasing to shoot. The Harper valve produces 40 + shots. I shoot my brother's Regal regularly.

The AW is over 120 + shots and has two power settings. On lower power setting still produces over 30 fpe with JSB Jumbo 18.1g pellets (Mine's pellet of choice) and over 40 fpe rivaling some .25 calibers on high power. The electronics in mine performs flawlessly. I just put it on charge once a month per Daystates recommendation. In short it is more accurate than a Regal shot off the bench due to the electronic trigger, which is really a switch. The electronics also produces a tighter shot string and on high power can really stretch it's legs beyond the Regal. Both are wonderfully crafted airguns with different callings.

my wolf is a .177 . its 14 fp on low and 19 on high.
I can go about 1500 shots with out a recharge.
I charge once a month.. I been shooting it since 2012
the trigger is amazing... truly is.
I can shoot a half a tin of pellets on low power and 150 on high power.
the stock offers many different grip positions.. thum up thumb down and thum through the thumb hole.
accuracy at 50 YARDS IS HALF INCE OR LESS WITH NO WIND some times much less.
