I'm a few weeks from my HM1000X in .25 cal completed. Is anyone using the right hand feed mags? Do you like them?

hi CRAIG ya i like them but im a little backwards shoot left like the right hand action,,i throw and bat right and write lefty plus a bad right eye so that makes me like a cyborg,, j/k i have 2 right and 1 left hand 30 cal mags got mine 7 weeks ago hope that helps i know the right hand mags dont get in the way if your using a sidewheel ,,,i would ask RAW if they still have the special buy one get one free for the mags i called 2 weeks ago about a sst all out good luck pat

We should be getting ours at about the same time,except mines a .357. Even though I'm left handed I shoot right handed and it never crossed my mind about the mag being left or right feed until about a month ago, I would prefer right side feed myself so I'll have to see what happens when I get mine..
Just remember......Left handed people are in their right mind...hahaha...

I ordered the right hand magazines. I was used to the FX magazines (shaped similar) so I went this way.

Just like the Marauders have which is another reason I like my 500 Royale. Again I never even thought about the mags when I ordered my HMx except for the buy one get one free deal Martin had/has going, if need be I'll order 3 right hand mags or when I call Sandra on Monday I'll ask about switching mine...

I also like the Hatsan for the mags it uses also, easier to load and not as bulky as the inclosed plastic mags but you also have a extra lever to operate with the Hatsan to hold the mag in, unlike the Marauder and FX that kinda snap into place with the enclosed plastic mags.

I really want to go right because of the wheel on the scope that i will be putting on it. I really can't wait to get the gun. I've been not allowing myself to dwell on it so the time passes quickly.

Haven't had a chance to fully test the right hand mags yet. Will need to test for any deformations or clipping of pellets. W/ Eric Sander's elevation (being mailed right now) & his 80mm yardage turret that need to be set up in the near future on the big Sightron. Been single loading this .25 HM1000X w/ a lil over a tin. So far so good.

I just threw the ES yardage wheel on her to see how she looks. I just noticed I'll have to move my scope bubble level now. Sightron is pretty well optically centered by just a few clicks vertically @ 50 yards w/ no adjustments w/ the FX no limit mounts.

If you use a large focusing wheel on your scope, then the right hand magazines are a must, otherwise you will have to single load it. The RAW .25 I have on order will come with right hand magazines.

How do you guys know when your gun is almost done?
I ordered mine and forgot all about the table of when it should be done. Does Sandra send you an email with a date it will be done as the time moves along?

Mine took exactly 12 weeks (last January). She told me about a week left and sends you a final invoice, and lets you know about a payment method.

I talked to her last week and she mentioned that it was a bit late but that it would not be too much longer.
She said that she will call a week before it is ready to ship so that I could send the balance of the money. My 12 week mark is this Saturday. The site says 10-12 but ordering over the summer and employees using vacation things may take a bit longer and to me this is is understandable not to mention the last thing I would do is push too hard to get it.
I do have great patience and will shoot the heck out of it when it arrives. Until then Martin can take all the time he needs to build the gun.

Yeah I am not in a rush. I ordered it a couple months ago and they been super nice to deal with. I changed a few things, added some, and asked a ton of questions. It's been a real pleasure to deal with them. Wouldnt change a thing about the service they provide!!!!

My confirmation is dated 7-12-17 so it shouldn't be much longer for my HMx .357 regulated to 130ft/lbs. I did have a special order Blue Laminated Thumbhole stock cut for it also.
