Help me decide: .22 Beeman R9 or .22 Diana RWS 48 Air Rifle, TO6 Trigger

Berman R9 no doubt !!!! The Diana is an OK type rifle ( I know others will disagree ) But its not as easy to shoot accurately as the R9 .
Think .243 against a 300 magnum . Ones just a lot easier to deal with . I haven't owned an R9 , but i have owned its identical twin the HW95 .
My Dad used to say that a Boat owners two best days are the day he buys the boat , and the day he sells it ......A Diana 48 was a lot like that for me .

"matisw"Help me decide
I have an old RWS 34, 177 which works great
looking at upgrading my fire power for pest control (squirrels) and plinking silhouettes in my back yard

what y'all think?
They are two different beasts. The R9 is not nearly as powerful as the D48. It will be easier to shoot accurately and if you have never owned a German made Beeman you will be pleased with the rifle.

Thanks, guys for your input,
I do own now a German made Model 34, 177, got it in about 1990, and it works great very accurate, but need more punch for pests
It has taken me a long time to get into my head the fact that FPS isn't everything!
Ok, will make decision soon
question:
pyramid air has the combo http://www.pyramydair.com/s/m/Beeman_R9_Elite_Series_Combo/1560/2869
(Beeman R9 and Hawke Sport Optics Vantage 4-12x50 AO )
which is not in stock, and yet they do have the gun without scope and the scope separately in stock, I asked them to just bundle it together and send it to me, I can mount a
freaking scope.
But, they won't do it, it is a package deal, they say.
Any thoughts on why this is? I thought perhaps that they get the scopes bulk without the packaging... any thoughts?

I have both and like both. The 48 is shorter but heavier, it is also more powerful. My HW does right at 700fps with 14.6 grain pellets. It is tuned with Macarri parts and is smooth and accurate. My 48 does 770fps with the same pellet and is also tuned with Macarri parts. Smooth and accurate, I wouldn't want to choose between the two. If I'm walking the HW gets the nod and if more power is preferred the 48 gets called to action. Both are excellent guns you'll be happy either way you go.
