Hello everyone! What is AZTEC OPTICS country of production?

Nearly all scope glass comes from the orient. Just can't afford US labor rates to make it here. Even Leupold glass is sourced oversees. So, when you say, Made in USA, do you mean, Assembled in USA?

The name Aztec Optics is trademarked by Buchanan Brothers in Gilbert, AZ, 85233

According to this site, Buchanan Brothers address is AOA
https://start.cortera.com/company/research/k5s9nun4q/buchanan-brothers-inc/ - The addresses match.

From that, I'd guess that Buchanan Brothers contracted with an off-shore manufacturer, provided specifications, and marketed the scopes. My bet is that they are not made or assembled in the USA, just sold here under the Aztec name.

Talk about a circle of licenses and trademarks, all leading back to AOA. That's good because they should know the needs of air rifle enthusiasts.

Does that help?

I sent Aztec a message with a few questions like where the glass is made?, designed in USA?, assembled where?
I'm still waiting for a reply and I don't mind if it is from a far but I don't really want Chinese glass for 400$ but Japanese glass yes.
I'll get back with an answer if I get a reply.
Thanks
im actually in the market for a good scope and the top of my list currently is
swaf ss 12x42 :)
I'm open to a few others but watch out for the bells and whistles as the glass should be a top priority over say flip up lens covers or 36 color ir. :)
Talk to JoewayneRhea he's a great guy and very knowledgeable.

Wait, I thought he loved the flip up lens covers and 36 color IR's! Wait, he doesn't?????

Couldn't agree more about the "features", I have one scope with IR, and the batteries been dead for longer than I can remember. Never missed it. The flip up lens cover on the same scope just gets in the way. Oh the joys of cheap features to make it look great and do nothing for performance.
